Hello all, After seeing a trusted content provider speak positively about it. My son gave me a gift of a new X-Tool D9 Pro Scanner. I am new to scan tools. So I am left to wonder who here may have experience with it. Or other like Scanners.

I keep hearing about its ability to initiate special feathers etc.. And I have hopes that this may apply to our Taco's. And if so to what degree. Anyway, please share what you know about this. Do you have references to good training videos etc..

i always just plug in such an item and see what works. many times they advertise a ton of universal features that don't always work for specific vehicles.

I did just that. And you are right, it was very intuitive and mostly self-explanatory. I just replaced the driver's side knuckle of my Taco and had an alignment. So I reset the VSC while I was there. Also was able to program two new freshly cut OE Honda Keys for my wife's CR-V. Oh and before calling it a morning. I CHECKED THE ADD "300hp" BOX AS WELL. Kidding aside, great gift. But way more than I will ever have the need for. But to, being able to help friends and family who may need a scan is a plus though.
