What accessories are not worth my money on a snugtop?

    Hey everyone,

Picked up an OR DCLB snd want to add a snugtop sport hi liner to it.

Quote from the dealer was $1719 for the top. But then come the accessories. I asked for quotes on various add ons and i just want to know which are worth it, which aren't.

Pet screens - ~$100 (i have a pit and a big 130lb dog so these seem smart)

Fold down front sliding window - free this month

Fold up sliding side windows - ~$229 (not sure if ive ever need this feature, is it of any value)

Keyless entry with new lock - ~$260 (not sure if id ever need this or if it's of any value)

Yakima tracks - ~$229 (must for me for my kayaks, bikes, and whatever)

Sportsman package - $229 (pretty sure i want this but I'm pretty meh on the fishing rod holders)

Bedrug - ~$399 (dude is a bedrug dealer and i definitely want one for my dogs and when i sleep in the back).

So i guess it boils down to, are keyless entry and flip up side windows worthy accessories? And are there any other accessories i should consider?

Primary use is storage, dog transportation, and sleeping/camping out of it when I'm in the mountains/backcountry and or at a festival.

    Thanks so much in advance.

I don't know much about these things, but what I do know is that it's a heck of a lot easier to clean the cab rear window if the camper shell front window can get out of the way.

I love my windoors. Single best feature of my canopy. Kinda pointless if you plan to invest in a bedslide though, so keep that in mind. Being able to reach things at the sides and even front of your box without having to climb in is worth it.

I don't intend to get a bedslide as I don't think I would use it with enough regularity. I simply sleep in the bed from time to time when i'm doing those big hikes where I need to start between like 0100-0300 and don't want to setup a tent or anything.

I like the idea of the windoors just in case i'm setup and I want my dogs to stay in the back but want them to get a lot of airflow and I can easily interact with them. And as you said, grab things without having to crawl into the bed.

Anyone have opinions on the keyless lock being worth it? If I go windoors it would seem it's not because it would only work on the main window, not the side ones.

I have a leer and really like having the keyless lock to know that when I leave the truck is secure without having to double check the back. Also have two dogs and went with the pet screens but decided against any carpeting headliner/floor since I figured it would be easier to clean and saved me $!

I skipped the windoors and don't really miss them. I have the OEM bed mat which I think is a lot better than the bed rug and saves you a ton of $$. Inside the camper gets really dusty and dogs will make messes with muddy paws and hair. I pull out the mat in 2 seconds and hose out the bed and scrub the mat. I didn't get the reinforced roof either. I have 60" rack bars on mine and carry quite a bit. The beds are really short and the snugtop is strong. I didn't get the electric lock but added it later for $100. Took about 20 minutes to install.
