I was looking for a "budget" way to improve the look of my 16'' steel wheels and was thinking out these wheel covers. Certainly cheap enough but hope they don't look like crap or fall off easy. Anyone have any experience with these?

Hey Tom you may want to get these. They are made for our steel wheels, I'm going to get the black ones. I think. I like these because they clip on the cut-outs on the steel wheels and you don't have to mess with your wheel weights like the covers that clip on the outer edge of the wheel.

Hey Chasefan; they are sharp, and would be some nice contrast with my silver truck. Definitely considering them. I live in Pennsylvania and winter is pretty much here so I'm going to wait until spring. I usually get a lot of overtime around the holidays so depending on how that works out I might spring for some actual rims, but if not, then this is the way I'm going to go.

They have shiny chrome wheel skins too! I have the utility package that done away with the chrome so I'm going to get the black.I could also buy some used factory alloys on ebay but I can go the cheap route and get a tonneau cover and a few other mods for what the alloy's would cost me. ;)

Which ones are those and size? 16”? Did they clear brake calipers?

They're called 32 series. Yep, they clear them with room to spare. Still very happy with them.

    Edit: forgot, they're 16x8"

They look great. I'm looking at these and the 69 series as well. Are your tires 265s or 285s?

Thanks man! I'm on 265/75/r16. Even with my 2.5" lift they still fill the wheel wells out in my opinion.

Best thing I’ve heard all day. I have the exact tire size and lift height! Are they now flush with your fenders or poke a little? Appreciate your replies btw.

Np at all man, just bbqing today. They extend about .5" past the fender flares at the widest point. I just added mud flaps back on after the lift and very little debris hits the rocker panels now (the flaps are about an inch wider than the fender flares.)

Here's a pic after the lift

Well—you just sold me on these wheels since you have a similar set up as me. Pro Comp should give you commission. Much appreciated and enjoy SB weekend man!

OK, so here is what I went with. American Racing, 16 x 8. My stock steels were 7'' but these 8 inch ones seem to work fine, and I have absolutely no issues with the tire pressure sensors. A silver truck with chrome wheels is a lot of shine! Initially I was thinking of going with white letter tires but for now I like the contrast of the black. In time I may even paint the center caps gloss black to add a little more contrast.

I just picked up a set of 17x8.5 -6 KMC XD301 Turbines for $750 shipped that really look clean to me and were reasonable imo.

I don’t like fake bead locks like the trd ones that my truck came with.
