Long story short I've gotten rid of my KB Voodoo Rack in favor of a camper shell, and now I've gotten rid of that because Ive got Fiberwerx bedsides now.

I've had a Prinsu Cab rack for quite a long time now. Looking for storage ideas that y'all use on a rack.

Getting ready for a trip to NC for Overland Expo with some camping along the way and need some ideas for storage for the trip. Gonna have my RTT on the bed and have a some storage in the bed as well.

I was thinking some of the long Pelican cases but really don't want to spend that kind of money for one. Maybe another reputable brand? Ive already got two Frontrunner small boxes that work out well, May also end up storing my TRED's on the rack as well.

So lets see what you got!

I just mounted a compact Smittybilt Defender roof rack on my '04 last weekend, it's small but I got it mainly to mount lights on. Mounted two halogen Hella lights up there last night. I love it!

Keep checking Craigslist! Eventually you'll find someone selling their pelican cases for cheap. Got mine (pelican 1750) for $30. Also check storm, as they're owned by pelican and are essentially the same product (I think the latch opens the other direction). Plano is another company that makes em- I can't attest to their quality personally, but I know they're cheaper (and have heard there's good reason for it- doesn't mean they won't work for what you're using em for).

The surplus HARDDIG cases have caught my eye. Cheap and id imagine just as bomb proof as pelicans. Dunno, gonna run around and do some window shopping at pelicans and other stuff this weekend, see what will work for me.

Don't really have a good picture of my rack  but I have a 42" plano case (holds shovel, axe, tow strap and misc tools), traction boards, an ARB awning on the passenger side and I have 3 camp lights on the rear. I have room for more stuff but my rack is on the OEM roof rack so I'm at my weight limit.

I just installed my ARB awning last week and I've yet to take a picture of it.

Chrck the PRINSU section of this forum. There is a thread with all kinds of ideas. I use a long plano all weather case. Been perfect for me. Picked it up for about 60-70.
