A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
That will help give you an idea, and that's not including McNeal fenders, C4 bumper, C4 rock sliders, Smittybilt 12K whinch, 50" RC X5 Light bar, Baja design ONX6 racer series 20" spot light bar, Squadron spot fog, Squadron wide ditch, possibly bed cage and spare tire carrier, Switch Pro, and other nick nacks I am not recalling at the moment. The rear bypass might be upgraded to 16" if I do end up with a cage. Not sure yet who is doing it if Bajakits or Miller Offroad.

I've got more than twice that amount of money into my tires. And that's with a discount for being a former employee who left on good terms... Why can't I like the less expensive stuff?

What about pro comp's? I'm kinda surprised no one has mentioned these. Are they new or just pure shite?

Love the Toyos, but I'll vote for the ST MAXX. Though I'd get the STT PRO instead if I went with Cooper.

I love my Toyo Open Country ATII's. I do however love the tread pattern of the STMaxx's.

I love 'em. Aggressive enough (more so if you air down) but quiet, well-behaved on the slab, and long-lasting. And a good price.

But "which tire" threads are kind of like "which oil" threads - really boils down to personal preference and there is no "best one" out there..

I've had both of those tires and to me the BFG's ride a tad bit rougher than the General Grabber At2. They look better than the Generals though, which I like.
For the value and performance, it's hard to beat the Generals.

I ran a set of Duratracs on my 2009 and was happy with them overall. I put 30k on them before I sold the truck and they had about 55-60% of tread left. I will replace my current BFGs with 75-80k on them. They have been good but I want a 265/75/16 not a 70. The BFGs in this size are 4lbs heavier than the ST Maxx so I am going with the Maxx with weigh the same as my BFG 70s. My second choice is the Duratracs which are available in a C @ 45 lbs per. I main concern with the Duratracs Cs is the fact that I need a tough sidewall on the ranch I hunt.

Same. I have Dynapros. They are pretty nice. I drive a lot of highway and they are pretty smooth. The offroading I have done was mostly dirt/grass/coal (nothing too crazy) and they were really nice. I also have an almost new set of KO2's that I took off of my Z71 before I traded it in. I'm just going to throw those on after my current tires wear out. So I'm good for awhile.

Another +1 for Hankook Dynapro ATMs, mine have been awesome. Great on the road, great offroad, great wet/rain traction, quiet, inexpensive, and after 30k+ miles they are barely showing any tread wear.

They're heavy and very aggressive. Unless the OP is going to wheel/mud on a semi-regular basis, I'd get something a bit more civilized. imo.

I'm on my second set of Cooper AT/3s. They do well in the rain, quiet, smooth ride and wear well. My only (and admittedly completely stupid) gripe being that they are one of the least aggressive "looking" AT tires out there. But at the end of the day, they perform fantastic for me.

Yeah, the Wildpeaks caught my attention in that big thread going around, I've been scheming on a set of those when I wear through these Cooper's. I dig the look. Overall though, the AT3s have impressed the hell outta me for what I've put them through. Hard to beat for the money.
