Love my Duratracs. Excellent wet traction Excellent in snow. Wear like iron. 25K so far and less than 3/64th" wear. Great gas mileage. They've taken a LOT of abuse off road. A little noise, but any GOOD off road tire will make some noise on pavement. Just don't run too much or too little pressure in them. VERY sensitive to psi's!

I've had Michelins, BF Goodrich, Firestone, and a few minor brands in mud tires and all terrain. Like the Duratracs more than any so far. Had KO2's on a 3/4 ton Dodge when they first came out....OK, but not the snow tire the Duratrac is. Michelin AT's weren't very effective if there was any signs of mud.

I have about 6000 miles on my AT/3 and have nothing but good things to say. If you watch discount tire direct you can get a $75 Visa card and $40 off if you buy 4.

Sorta inexperienced with A/T tires. Got BFG KO's for the worst reason ever...all my buddies had them. They are over-kill for my purposes. But I love them. Great on all surfaces. They dropped my mpg b/c they're heavy. But I never worry about rocks or mesquite thorns. Also, noise is not an issue at all. They're no louder than the stock tires that came on it...Dunops, I think.

Toyo Open Country at-2's are the only way to go for me. Great price and great warranty. I've always heard bad about goodyear and nitto's from my buddy who runs a tire shop, but who knows.

Heavier load range hurts your mpg's...probably 1 or 2 mpg's I'm guessing. I don't drive it much during the week. So I'm not worried about it. But could be something to consider since C's are likely more than sufficient.

Forgot to add...I've put 27K miles on my BFG KO's. I will likely get another 20-25K out of them. They wear very well. (Or maybe I drive like a sissy?)

I've been very happy with my Hankook Dynapro ATMs. They're reasonably aggressive but aren't noisy. They've also been wearing very well.
