x2 on the Toyo AT II. It has been a great all-terrain tire for pretty much all applications. The tread life is great. I have had a set on for a little over 8,000 miles and don't see any signs of wear. Only downside is the small lug spacing will fill up with mud quickly but after all it is an all terrain.

Running Hankook Dynapro ATMs for the second time on my 2010.

Truck came with BFG Rugged Trail TA, replaced with Hankook Dynapros around 25,000 miles and got much better off road handling, great in mud and snow as well as sand and highway.

Replaced with PepBoys Destiny Dakota ATs (made by Cooper) around 50,000 miles. It was a Sunday, and nobody else was open!

Replaced with Hankook Dynapro ATMs at 73,000 miles...
Now at 78,000 and tires look new still, no flats, no stucks.

Worst tire I've ever run was a Hankook Dynapro, and 4 local shops wouldn't even order them if I wanted them because they're known for being a poor truck tire.

    Went with Cooper. No problems.
Had 6 Hankooks in 5k miles, all problems.

Anyone have these. I really like an aggressive and a little noisy tire. Price isn't bad and like I said only in the summer use.

Have you looked into the cooper st maxx in a 255? Might be right up your ally. Aggressive and they get great reviews here.
And of course some people swear by the Goodyear duratracs. But I've also read a lot of bad reviews on them

Guys here love this tire. I don't see a 255 with 16 inch rim. But I didn't look too much. Check out discounttiredirect on ebay. They have the $100 Off Purchase Of $400 going on now

    Isn't that interesting?
For an inexpensive all terrain tire, I was very impressed with them the first time I had them. They were one of the most popular all terrain tires mentioned here on TW, as well.

That's why I tried them. 10 tire appointments and 6 tires and then I threw in the towel. All under 6k miles.

What's your plan with them? Year round or summer or winter tire? I agree load range E is a little much. But maybe. Ot bad if you air them down a little?
There are several threads her about them from what I've seen. I'm sure someone can offer much more help than I can

Maybe you can get away with airing them down around a but during the summer months. They sure would look good
