Numerous deer, wild hogs, bobcat, coons, rabbits, blue heron, Ibis, red tailed hawk, vultures, skunk, aramadillos, dogs, cats, crow (only one, they are smart devils), alligators, turtles, snakes, turkeys, owls and birds galore...

I drive 45 miles to work in Central Florida where there are no sunny beaches or freeways just country roads and lots and lots of wildlife...I totaled one Tundra hitting a damn hog that set off the airbag which was not very fun...For me a front bumper worth its salt is beyond important..

Damn, dude, I think you win. I hear you about a good bumper, I hit a deer once going 80 on the interstate, it was in a crappy ford tempo, the front end exploded, the deer flew up and over the hood, the rad was smashed, the car basically totaled. Can't imagine hitting a big hog, they've got more bone and meat than a deer.

Let me see..... First victim was a rabbit. It ran out in the middle of the road and just kept on running in the middle of the lane and then CRUNCH!! Second victim was a bat. It just swooped out of the tree and BAM!!! Right in the grill. My son seen it under there and for a little bit he use to call it The Bat Mobile. The latest victim was a deer. On the way to work, I was coming up on a downhill curve and there she was in the middle of my lane. It tried to move but, her hoves couldn't grab the pavement, then BAM!!! Ran right over it. I got to work and looked at the damage. Cracked the bumper on the driver side near the fog light. Up to this day I still haven't got it fixed yet. Have to raise the funds for my deductable. :(

Thanks. I didn't get to see much of the truck when it happened, they wanted to get me to the hospital asap. When I saw the pics, I was amazed that I walked away relatively ok. I still have three pieces of glass in my cheek that may have to be removed later on. I'm glad at how well the Ranger held together considering what all happened.

I did think to myself a little later on that I wonder how my Tacoma would have held up? I sure could have used some side air bags! But hopefully that will remain a mystery because I don't plan on flipping another vehicle...EVER!

First victim a bird. Then nothing for like 15 years. Had never hit a dog, but came accros two dogs fighting which ran right in front of me. So I killed two dogs at the same time!! Still think about it every once in a while
