I'd like to keep the back seats in my 03 double cab and want to explore my options for sub sizes/boxes and amps, doesn't have to be to crazy just want some good sound :D

Was wondering the same thing lol. From what I can see, the only two places an amp/sub can go is behind the seat or under one of the front seats.

I'd do a small sub behind the rear seat, amp under the seat. You can replace the stock speakers with decent replacements, and maybe add some boom mat to help keep out road noise help with interior sound. Maybe some custom work on the paneling in the doors if stock replacement isn't what you had in mind. Get a good head unit and put money in quality wiring and equipment.

There just isn't enough room to do more without losing a seat, or footwell. Besides too much bass ruins any music. ;) A small system can sound great if executed properly.

PO put in Rockford Fosgates. The two front doors are pretty much blown, but the two rears work perfectly lol. And the base from them will vibrate every panel on my truck if I turn my volume up, only when playing a song through my phone. Was considering an amp cause they sound distilled at higher volumes
