I've got Cooper ST Maxx's and have been pleased and impressed with them. But I have E rated tires and get like 13-14 mpg because of all the other shit on my truck. But I've driven it on a few trips 300 miles or so one way and haven't had any major issue. They are louder but that's the price you pay to play the game.

According to his spreadsheet, they're the stock size. I can tell you from experience they generally look a lot larger than stock prior to mounting to the wheel.

And since we're on the topic, has anyone here gone between a C/SL/P rated tire to an LT? How's the ride compare between the two?

I went with the RT in 265/70R17. Its been great, no pulling, super smooth, about the same noise as the K02 were. LT E are heavier that oems but mileage didn’t take much of a hit; less than 1mpg Hwy.. and they tow great. Noticed they don’t throw gravel like the K02 either..

Lots of good choices. That said, if you're looking for the most aggressive tire that is still nice on the highway, look at the Cooper ST/Maxx. I've been as impressed with these on the trail as on the fast Texas highways.

I just put a set of Goodyear (Yeah I know) Wrangler Duratracs 265/75/16 on the Taco. No rubbing at all, I have more than a inch of clearance when full lock left or right.

Yeah there aggressive all right lol. They have changed the look of the truck.

I love them! I will post up some pics laters..

Can’t get At 3 in Canada yet ( too new) so I went AT 2 And I like them a lot but they are a little noisy on the highway compared to stock. I think a MT would be too much for me personally on the highway.

I currently have 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs on my 2018 OR, and I really like them. Amazing traction all around (wet, snow, ice, mud). I've been on plenty of rocky trails, but have never gotten a flat. There's about 45,000 miles on them, about 8/32 of tread left, and I get about 18 - 20 mpg regularly.

All of that being said, I don't think I will get them again, unless there's a banger of deal, because of the road noise.

That's why I'm so interested in the Goodyear Ultraterrains. If they hold up as well as the Duratracs, but with slightly less aggressive thread and less road noise, then they may be the best all around tire for me.

The ultra terrains remind me a bit of the Goodyear silent armors. I got darn near 90k out of those on my FJ. Great AT tire with a moderately aggressive look and good street manners.

I just got the Duratracs yesterday, I notice a bit of a hum on the side streets around 45-50MPH.

On the highway it's not that bad. The way these things look you would expect them to howl like a banshee and they just don't. There not quiet, there also not street tires. But honestly the hum is not a drone and it does blend in with the radio on.

All in all I like them
