I'm in the Dallas area. Anyone have any info on how difficult these trails are? IE, are there any areas for near stock vehicles to play?

I'm at a stock height and I do pretty good at Crowley, but that's pretty far from you

I was at Bridgeport last weekend. My truck is stock... plenty of trails....It's a smaller park.

BMRA about 150 east of Dallas is my favorite park. Went out there a ton in my FJ Cruiser... it was stock and i did trails rated up to 3 diamonds... a stock Tacoma can go lots of places!

Homebrew bumpers and sliders, 5100s & Eibachs up front and mutt leaf pack out back, 285s & Wheelers type B, sway bar deleted. Wife's ride: 01 4Runner 4wd sport. Stock with exception of TRD taco coils, and shift kit.
I'll add TORR to that for a newb to go wheeling.

And after my first trip to BVORR I'll say a small lift and 32s at least help there. Stock will do alot you'll just be dragging over everything. But no rocks is nice.

Don't bother with general Sams unless you want more mud them you know what to do with and unmarked trails. Is more of a 4 wheeler park imo.

Here's what my wife and I prefer when it comes to TX 'wheeling:

    Wolf Caves near Mason.

    Escondido Draw west of Ozona.

Twin Buttes Reservoir outside San Angelo (you'll need a TX OHV permit).

And, of course, BBNP and BBRSP (preference to the state park).
