What are the best gears for a 2009 2wd

    dumped exhaust, blacked out tails and third brake, fog light mod, painted rear bumper,rims and front grill,Cobra 29 special edition added.
    Im thinkng about putting in new gears in my truck, trying to make the truck a little more torquey and have some more umph, anybody know anything?

    06 Double Cab Sport with a few mods
    I have 4.56 gears and run summer tires (265/60R18) when I'm not wheeling and I'm happy with the power. It revs a little high on the highway but it still gets 17.5 mpg with a bunch of armor on. I would think about getting super charger instead.

    alot of metal, small engine, decent travel.
    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
    i would think about a supercharger as said above. most only regear if they have bigger tires

    yea but the supercharger is a little expensive

    It's a little more but you'll get the best power gains from it. In the long run it's the best option. If you're the kind of person that always wants more power I would choose something that is upgradable. Once you get new gears there aren't really many options to go with that. If you get a super charger you can do a bunch more mods to get more out of it.
