Bump , Im looking to do the same.

On my previous vehicle I used some 3000k DDM hids but they had a greenish look to me, would 4300 give a more yellowish look?

Yes........ but not what you want if you're looking for yellow.

Yellow is the best color for fog and rain.

4300K will be similar to a standard Halogen headlight ( color ).

Look at their bulb color chart...... and it doesn't matter if it's HID or whatever........4300K will still be 4300K.

H10 bulb is direct replacement in my 2005 fog lights. I would guess that the 2012 uses the same bulb type.

I have the "all weather" which are more yellow than stock but not really really yellow. Sometimes in reflection of store windows it looks like they are ringed in purple. Hoen also has the "endurance" style which are really yellow.

Hoens are the only aftermarket bulbs I've ever had last more than 2 years. Mine are over 5 years now.

BTW, 4300k should be blue. Stock bulbs are around 3800. Yellow is 3000k. I've had 4000k which were just a little blue. If you get up around 5000k, it's more purple in my opinion. This pic is from a photography source but same concept.[IMG]
