Are there more incentives on the 2020s when the 2021s come out in September?
(What has it been like in the past?)

    thank you!

Purely anecdotal, but the two local dealerships that usually have 20+ new Tacoma’s on the lot at any give time- three new Tacoma’s between them currently.

I did read that there was a pickup truck shortage because of COVID, so maybe not looking good as far as lower price deals end of year.

welcome aboard. I live in the deep (deep) south and toyota offers no breaks or deals. They know they have the market nicely cornered.

With most vehicles, there are deals to be had. All bets are off with Tacomas though. Plan on paying close to sucker price.

I'm starting to wonder if 2021 will have a TRD Pro model? I've read that the exclusive has been announced but will there be a market for the up model midsize truck. I guess as long as the Fox components are available Toyota will build them.

I know its early but I don't think there will be a 2022 TRD lineup.

Some manufactures do a better job of analyzing the supply chain, to protect their brand, dealers, pricing levels, etc. I would consider Toyota one of them. Don't get me wrong, there will still be a few deals made, but the likely hood of all/most dealers having a glut of both model years, and offering massive price cuts won't be widespread.

You would think dealers would be pushing '20 stock if toyota switches to the '21 production soon, probably not as many later this year since production was halted and they probably didnt produce as many as they could. Youll probably get best deals this summer with a final blowout early fall and then only '21 with not very many incentives.

The 0% and whatever they have on rebate might be it.

There won't be any deals except what you make with the dealer. Supply and demand rules always.

Bought mine 3 months before 2020's came out. I think MSRP was something like 40,500 and I paid 34,600. Dealer was a volume dealer and seemed pretty damn motivated to push out the remaining 40 something tacomas they had on the lot still...
