Do they have auto hubs (A.D.D auto diff disconnect) as well? Cause if so, I see zero benefit to having a push button. I'd assumed there must be SOME benefit to the push button otherwise they wouldn't have wasted the time and money having it.

Sounds like somewhat of a rare thing on this board, but I can see mine perfect :D Having separate dedicated clocks are one of the quirks I love about asian cars.

Due to my seating position (pretty close and upright) and height (6') I can see it fine, but I can easily see how it could easily be completely blocked just by using a different seating position or being a different height.

One of the vehicles I drive for work is an hhr. It has no door lock button. They lock automatically when in drive and unlock in park.

Also, I'm 6'2" and when I ride in my gf's 98 camaro my knee locks the doors constantly.

My truck has a fully manual transfer case and ADD:cool:

So yes, push button 4wd is completely pointless and stupid.

This feature is programmable with about four different options on the Accord. I had an '08.

I don't like the fade in and out of the interior light when you open or close the door. Give me full voltage as soon as I open the door.

Same. It's the exact same as a button except it's a manual shift lever. Eliminates all the electronic crap that could fail. If I'm cruising down the street and need 4wd, I just pull the shift lever down and I'm in 4hi. Then there is an "H" like pattern to get in 4lo

I had a rental JK Wrangler once. 2Hi to 4Hi on the fly was smooth enough, but going into 4Lo with the lever was a pain in the ass - wouldn't engage half the time. The rotary knob in my Taco has been pretty reliable. From 2Hi to 4Hi is not a problem unless I try to engage it in the middle of a turn, in which case the light will flash until the road straightens out. IMO the only real drawback to the pushbutton or rotary knob system is the lack of a neutral setting for towing.
