Good question. So far I have only turned off the seatbelt chime and changed the lane change blinker setting from 3 to 5 flashes. I’m trying to figure out if I can turn the AC on without it defaulting to recirculate.

Weird, I can't get the seat belt chime to turn off. TS displays the 'Off' in blue for both the passenger and driver, but it still chimes. What am I missing?

I've done this to my 16 taco and my wifes Rav4. Both before delivery haha.

Is Techstream available to everyone? Or is it something that's only available with a dealer?

Its a dealership tool but there are "bootlegged" versions of the software on the internet. Then you just need to by the right cable and bobs your uncle

I don't have access to TechStream, but I did make some changes with Carrista: seat beat chime off, momentary blinker rate from 7 to 5, and unlock both doors with the remote.

Did you click the green arrow or whatever it is in the bottom right corner after you altered the settings?

Lane change signal and seatbelt chimes are probably the most popular from what I’ve seen. For me I changed lane change to 6 blinks, disabled seatbelt chime, set all doors to unlock on first press and disabled the auto up/down on the power windows.

Just interested as to why you would disable the auto up/down feature.

Moving the switch half the travel allows you to adjust the window to any position.

Yes, TS displays the changes have been made, but the chime still sounds.

I know about the switches but I often didn’t hit them just right and the window would just keep going so when I noticed the setting I turned that “feature” off as I don’t mind holding a button for a few seconds.

I changed the PCS setting to remember which option I had selected. I didn't like it defaulting to on every time I turned the truck on and off. The dealer would not perform the recall fix on the sensor since my truck is slightly lifted.

So can you change the courtesy blinker to whatever you want? I'd like to go to 4, I'd assume that's no problem?

Hmmm...I might have to skip buying lunch at work today lol.
