What are the most popular Techstream changes performed on the 3Gen Tacoma?

I turned mine off with the Carista app

 

I put mine to six blinks and that works for me. I also shut off the seatbelt chime.

 

Google MINI VCI cable and you should find it. Also google techstream and you'll find tons of threads from different forums with all the info you need. Just be careful, you'll need a fairly recent version to recognize your 3rd gen. Like dont download Techstream version 6.0 from a 10 year old forum thread.

 

You can set it anywhere from 3-7 blinks if I recall correctly.

 

If I recall correctly, the blinker choices (Carrista) are 3, 5, or 7.

 

The techstream cables on Amazon show a difference in 16-pin and 22-pin. Which works for the 2019? Thanks.

 

Can Techstream change the default setting for the following distance on the radar cruise control?

Tactrix open point 2.0 works for my computer connecting to techstream

 

I just did today with Carista app, it even worked with the old Bluetooth BAFX adapter I had from like 3 years ago. There are more options now under the Tacoma.

 

Which mod option/change in settings or “it” are you referring to?

 

For example, the blinker can now be adjusted in 1 blink increments, and both front seat belts and some other ding sound can be made faster or slower like when the car is off with the keys inside.
