Wow ... That’s considerably higher than the entire TRD premium Off Road package!

As long as they're not the new reflector LED's from the RAV4, which are some of the worst out there, so bad that I'm buying a Forester instead for my GF. If, OTOH, they turn out to be great, then I'll be getting a pair for my Tacoma.

These look more or less the same as the new RAV4 lights but without seeing them in person, driving them at night or seeing the IIHS testing, which rated the RAV4's at marginal to poor, it's anybody's guess as to how good or not good these are.

I recall hearing that a jumper cable is necessary for the swap.

I wanted to buy a replacement part for a Rigid cutter I have and it's more money than buying a new one. So out came the red loctite and the cutter will have one last dance before it goes it the bin.

You can still hope we are somehow able to get a software upgrade. I believe the camrys are getting carplay via a software upgrade, but they are on a newer version of the entune software.

I haven't seen this come up and maybe its not possible, but can one not put an Entune 3.0 from a Camry in a Tacoma? Might be cheaper to get an updated Camry unit since I'm sure some have been totalled by now.

Toyota found a way to cheap out on these too. One would think LED would be better, but the rav4 has some shit led headlights. I have the feeling that those morimoto aftermarket led headlights will have better output than the new led stockers....

How bad are people's eyes these days where they need LEDS in everything?

LED's are not intrinsically better or brighter than halogen or HID, but they do consume less energy than the others. LED's alone do not make a good headlight. The entire package has to be designed around the light source with whatever specific parameters the designer has in mind accounted for.

As drivers age they don't need LED lighting in particular but they do need more effective headlights than they did when they were younger. You night vision decreases, sometimes drastically, as you age, which is why you never want to see your grandparents in their 80's driving at night.

I be interested in the radio, but what I'm more curious is if the 2020 headlights will fit the 19 and under.

Someone quote that the 2020 headlights will not fit 16-19. Not sure if that's accurate or not but hopefully it can be done!

Those reflector LED headlamps are going to be garbage as far as light output goes if they are anything like other brands reflector LED's. Mercedes uses the reflector LED's in cheap models & they are awful, might as well have the lights off.

Replying to the OP the 2020 headunit is going to be $$$$$$$$$.

Personally I doubt the '20 head units will fit in the '16-'19s since they went to an 8" screen. It's damn near a tv in the dash!

They will fit just fine, I have a 9 inch in the factory hole. The big issue is that the 2020 with the 8 inch are JBL radios (except manual transmission for some reason) So you need to have a JBL car to start with to use it.
