What is everyone doing to stay cool? Tuesday we were able to order a R2D2 unit from Costco in Illinois. Paid the extra $62.25 for 1-2 day delivery. I had a feeling it was going to be late and was going to get refunded the extra shipping cost, but it showed up Thursday! Only using it in the bedroom at night to sleep easier, and it’s great! Our pup is definitely enjoying it. Stay cool and hydrated everyone, and check in on the older folks.

So far here in my backyard in Sandy, we have reached 101.4 degrees. What temps are you all seeing?

I turned off the heat on the hot tub, was expecting to drink margaritas and cool off, turns out a couple hundred gallons of water, under a roof protected from the sun, gets really fuckin cold even when it's 100°. Time to crank the ac instead

I'm not in the Pacific Northwest, although sometimes I wish I was with all the Pine trees and lakes.

Arizona was 118 last week. Ice cream helps...

Sitting in my house with the air conditioning on and the reflective blinds down because it's always fucking hot here in the summer.

Sure you guys see these temps regularly but I think the part you are missing is that most people don’t have air conditioning in the PNW. Lots of folks here don’t have the luxury of sitting in their air conditioned living room.

we are very grateful for our mini split and invited friends without AC over to get out of the heat.
