What are you getting your GF/wife for x-mas?

I need ideas so I thought it'd be fun for everyone to share. After all, sharing is caring.

 

Im just helpin her decorate her room. haha

 

I might get my wife a Coach purse. But I heard that the matching wallet comes seperete and I'm not sure I want to spend the extra dough for a stupid matching wallet....

 

Ya i desperately need ideas. Last year bought the gf a diamond necklace and now I have to top that. Im screwed. haha help

 

I try to ALWAYS start out small and work my way up each year... Otherwise it gets expensive real quick! LOL

I hate this time of year. For girls it's one of three things: clothes, jewelry, "accessories." Well, guys can't accessorize. Jewelry costs too much. And if you buy clothes, you're screwed: too small, and she thinks she's fat. Too big, and she "knows" she's fat and you think she's fat.

get her some wet okole seats for your truck. justify it by saying "i want you to have a more comfortable ride when your in my truck" and maybe get the heated seat option to keep her fanny warm! haha

Other ideas:

A certificate for a massage at the local massage parlor.
(notice, I DID NOT mention manicure or else that would imply she needs one - not a good idea)

Does she have a vehicle?
Gift certificates for a car wash
Modifications for her car

Does she like coffee and/or fancy hot drinks? Get her a special lattee (sp?) coffee maker (brews one cup at a time).

Did I mention gift certificates?

It's a bowling ball Christmas. I know this sounds goofy but I'm getting her a custom bowling ball with a bag & shoes.

We just started bowling with her sons, so now everyone is really into bowling. She likes pink so I bought a pink ball and put a picture of her Chihuahua's head on the ball (you just upload a picture to the site and they make the ball using the graphic plus any color choice). I got her a black bag with pink flames on the side, and her shoes are white with pink flames.

Her son and his girlfriend are into gnomes, so I found a picture of a gnome pushing a large crystal ball. I photoshopped the ball black, put in three darker spots to simulate holes and cartoonized it so it looks like he's pushing a large bowling ball. Then we had some custom 8" patches made and put them on the back of some bowling shirts with their names on both the patches and the shirts. We also bought him and his girlfriend bowling balls (his is a black ball with flames on it, since he's a forest service firefighter).

 

Get her a massage at the local day spa....

 

A friend of mine once bought an ATV and told his wife "I bought it just for you".......she punched him in the face!

Spa! Perfect idea! Thanks...she's been complaining about her back, too.

 

And once she is all relaxed and limbered up... It'll be a gift that gives back. Get a 1hr gift certificate for full body.
