    i'm in upstate ny also, but i'm 45, not 25. i pay around $450 per year for my taco with state farm, full coverage. no tickets or accidents.

    when i was down on long island, i was paying around $950 per year per vehicle. upstate ny is really alot cheaper.

    im with AIS which shops around so im with mercury.

    TRD wheels, BFG tires, factory installed option.
    I pay $520 a year. Full cov, Geico. 2011 tacoma 4x4 reg cab. Rate came down from an '09 Dakota 4x2. But vehicle is insured in Az. and billed to Ca. address. Like a snowbird thingy. Got an excellent record, almost 66 yrs old. Minimum coverage though.

    I've been wanting to shop around since I'm paying $1200 a year for the Taco with Erie insurance. I'm 27 and only issues I've had were a claim when I hit a deer like 7 years ago, didn't have my own policy then. And I had one speeding ticket out of state for doing 65 in a 50. Got no points for that and that was in 2007.
