$2,000 down, $300 a month for a 36-month lease on a 2016 TRD Sport double cab short-bed 4x2. MSRP was about $32,000 which was the model without the tech package (climate control a/c, blind spot monitors, etc.).

Interesting that my Tacoma was about $32,000 MSRP while an SR5 4Runner was about $34,000. But to lease the 4Runner would have been $2,000 down and $480 per month for the same term and mileage.

    And I live in Hawaii.

It would be (should be) very rare you are lease returning a Taco and are in that situation. If you were trading it in instead you most likely have several thousand in equity assuming your not wayy wayy over on miles or you beat your truck to hell in 3 years. or you could sell it outright to carmax and pocket several thousand.

Def my SR is going to carmax in year 2ish of my lease / or sell private party, and I'm putting whatever equity down on an Off-road 4x4 most likely. Carmax will be paying stupid money for these trucks because a 1-2 year old vehicle with 30k miles is their thing and they ship them wherever the vehicle has the strongest market for resale. (from my understanding)

Seems pretty normal to me for someone purchasing instead of leasing.

$500 down on a $28k(?) vehicle is practically nothing. I'd probably have kept that in my pocket.

    $1000 down $350/month (tax included)
(Tow package, has factory 3m protectant on hood and front end, came tinted)
Residual was around 80% when I got it made best sense to lease.

For 36/12, wear and tear ($5000 worth of damages allotted when turned in) and their "protection" package which includes 1 key replacement, 1 battery, 1 or 2 tires (I forgot) brake pads, 1-2 bent wheels etcetc (have the details w all the paperwork). Only wanted the wear and tear because of my dogs mainly but they threw that in at the end.

Yes taxes and title were rolled into the payment. Just had to pay first months payment and dmv fees at signing.

I'm paying $340/mo. for my 2008 on a 4-year note, but I can do whatever the hell I want with it and it'll still have good value when I'm done with it!

Reason being is that the Tacoma has a much higher residual value than the 4Runner.

Meaning at the end of the lease, should you want to purchase the Tacoma, the amount you need to pay will be much higher than compared to the 4Runner.

I almost hate to admit but I'm paying $518 on a four year lease for a 2016 dcsb sport 4x4. Full disclosure though, that was rolling in over $5,000 in negative equity and putting no money down. Also has an extended maint package to cover the allotted miles in the lease. And I did 15,000 miles a year lease.

That's a sick deal! Mine doesn't have tech or bed cover. Figured in a year and a half I'll Carmax mine and buy something else because I don't even put 300-400 miles per month on mine. Having a separate work car pays off.

    357/mo

    Paid 33500 on 34500 msrp

650 fee is all I put down and not sure why I did.

But after three years for 25800.

Leasing any other truck is not going to be even remotely worth it. They just don't have the residual value. Once I buy this truck, I can likely sell it if I choose and make a few grand.

4k down with 750 college rebate for 200/month ona SR 4x4 convenience package. First new car I've ever been in, as well as first time dealing with a dealership. Therefore credit check took a long time and a lot of explaining.
