Thank you, D.J.! I really didn't know it was her father's account. Having recently losing my mom to metastatic breast cancer, I would never joke around of someone's loss had I known. Thanks again, D.J. & I'm sorry Toysareus for any confusion.

I don’t know what to think of all this. When my Dad took us to isolated locations, with the youngest at 2, ( we complained all the way) and showed us places that most people will never see in their lifetimes, I remain at awe at all the beauty to which my Dad said someday man will destroy all this. I recently found out he kept journals of our journeys along with pictures. We didn’t know our little feet could hike that far. I’m at my moms house going though stuff, that’s why I posted here. Maybe I shouldn’t have. Mom won’t let me take the DVD of that Bad Co concert home with me. It’s just a memory. He sang to us this song, changed a few words.

I asked my mom about this account (toysareus) and she said she posted here. Said she thought she was helping someone that was depressed or suicidal.

Drove across the country recently. Co to NJ up I70. Made a huge instrumentals playlist but ended up just jamming to this bands entire discography three times over. https://youtu.be/9_gkpYORQLU

I've gotta say, I've been a Zep fan for a long time (I'm and old fart), though I despise Stairway to Heaven and don't think much of the In Through The Out Door album.

Back in the day, I was into Zep, Sabbath, UFO, Pink Floyd and several others. And then 1977 happened. The big Fuck You to the record companies and the explosion of music of different types blew me away. Met a bunch of people who all bought albums from different groups, made cassettes to share, so it was cheaper to get a wide variety. LA, NY, Britain, Ireland, Australia. Amazing times for sure.

I understand the Zep thing for you. Looking back, their attitudes sometimes overshadowed the music and could definitely alienate people. The music it's self was a strange mix sometimes and hard to follow what the point was.
