KISS was one of those bucket-list bands that I wanted to see live.
    I got to in 2018.
This is exactly how they opened their show.

    https://youtu.be/9M09Ygr0D34

Love 'em, or hate 'em they put on one hell of a show. I had a great time.
(Skip ahead to approximately 3.00 minutes for the start of the song).

I was fortunate to see them TWICE!

    Masked and Unmasked. (Late 80s)

Shows are fantastic...best ever I've seen but my concert list is very short.

    Rush (3Xs)
Ted Nugent (once in the 90s)
    Van Halen (Sammy Hagar)

    That's still awesome.
I got to see RUSH(2008, Snakes & Arrows tour) .
I never got to see Van Halen.
In fact, one of the bands I would have loved to see was Motörhead. I actually bought tickets to see them in 2014. But, about a month before the show they canceled due to Lemmy's health.
1 year later, Lemmy passed away. I still regret not trying to see them sooner.
I have been lucky enough to see most of the bands/artists that I wanted to see.
Some, more than a handful of times.

I'm actually going to see Jack White in just a few weeks. So, I'm cranking this tonight.

    @Crowkiller06

    Cool Music!

The two Rush concerts I saw:

    A show of Hands
    Roll The Bones

I forget who opened for them...

But I do remember Queensryche opening up for KISS during one of their concerts...Man they were good!

I saw VH at Wembley Arena in England in the early 90s when I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall (1990-93).

Oh, oh, oh! How could I forget Robert Plant! I saw him in Frankfurt, Germany while stationed at Ramstein AB (2003-06).

    I was 10ft away from the stage...I don't think I've ever felt like that at a concert...and what I mean is...the emotions!

My voice going as loud as I could sing was drowned out by the sounds...I think I almost shed a tear.

The best part...I took my daughter and 5 of her Ramstein HS friends in the Honda Pilot...I had to set up the third row seating.

We took home a momento from the experience...the concert poster taped to thin wood boards. I have a picture somewhere...but the poster is in my shed.

To make it more interesting, the drive home was in a winter storm.

    Man, that sounds amazing.
I'd love to have seen Van Halen, Roth or Hagar, I like both eras. And I'd kill to see RUSH again. They were unbelievable.
And.... you saw Robert Plant. You win.

    Speaking of Ramstein.
If I'm not mistaken, that's where these guys got their name. I'd absolutely love to see them live.
