    Must have had too many IPAs when I posted. LOL Jason Hook is the guitarist and is from FFDP. Lead singer is Wrex Horton, not sure what bands he has been in.

    I've never seen them, surprisingly, but I do like some/most of their music. I do remember that story as well.

    Here is the only real info I can find regarding Horton.

    Singer Wrex Horton was introduced to music at age 13, thanks to his sister and Guitar Hero. He honed his vocal chops by playing in local bands and making online videos. Various music industry friends and acquaintances would become the connective tissue between himself and Hook. Horton knew he wanted to be a frontman, and FLAT BLACK afforded him that opportunity. Wes loves the fact that his bandmates prioritize songcraft — and that allows him to be the singer he has always wanted to be.

    I was at the Black Friday show..quite the experience in short. Though I did get upgraded tickets to the next local show and the free meet with the band, still have the picture of me and my bro in law with them.

    The whole band does, yup. Never saw them in the heyday but about 10 yrs ago they opened for Pat Benetar and Journey, still sounded good then and now

    Sammy must be seen on this tour, especially since Satch is with him
