    This is such a Jr High School song for me in the early 80s.

    Having crushes on girls and not knowing how to approach a beautiful person.

    Then, when you get to know them, it's like they enjoyed the experience until it was time for them to fly.

    I had a great friend who knew/saw other girls that liked me...but she did not tell me.

    We became close one time and she said those words to me: "you're too good of a friend" and so we left it there.

    I suppose it was better to wonder what could have been instead of learning how to fly. :hearteyes:
