Got a rebuttal today from her and she is giving me a an extra $1000 in dealer discounts adding up to $6250 and would make the truck $40,440 before TTL (43,500 after TTL). Think I should jump on it?

That's a solid deal but you can always try to squeeze a bit more in person and they know you are serious about the deal. Just depends on how far you want to ride it out. Be prepared, do you know what their doc fee is, because that will get added on after your negotiated discount and any applicable rebates. They will also likely try to up sell you an extended warranty and/ or finance through their lender, both of which can be big profit generators for the dealership.

Doc fee seems to be $150 here which isn't bad compared to AZ where I'm originally from. Also, I can always get an extended warranty at a later time which I'll probably hold off on for now. I got pre-approved at a local credit union for 3.9% on a 72 month loan so if Toyota financial can't beat that then I'm most likely not going through them.

TFS is 1.9% on a 60 month loan for 2020 model year.

Yeah I saw that, then it takes away the 1500 rebate. I think the rebate would be better value imo.

Seems a little high for around here in Central Texas, but apparently they are less willing to deal in other areas. Good luck with your purchase.

I still don't get paying $50,000 for a Tacoma (after taxes, etc.). You could buy a new Ram 3500 diesel 4x4 for that. I'm hoping to snag a TRD OR for roughly $30k.

Depends what kind. The gmc I’m willing to trade for that one is a 2020 2500 AT4. OTD at 70k with that one. Trucks are expensive. And it’s a great truck too but after I’ve been driving my 2008 Tacoma I’m more into Tacomas now then the other truck. And staying with that one would be great but I’m having many issues with it.

A 2020? You're going to take an absolute bath if you get rid of it that quick. At least drive it 2 years and get your money's worth out of it.

    Thanks for the input.

How much did you pay for yours?
    What was the MSRP?

Anyone know how dealers are doing on trade?

I found a Pro with an MSRP of $46,000 and thinking about trading in my 2018 Off-road if they don’t kill me on the trade.

Never traded any vehicle in, just wondering if getting more for it than KBB says is actually possible, and how much you should be negotiating down on a new Pro?

I tried this with two different dealers a couple days ago. Both said no.

Looking specifically for a black OR with leather interior is pretty much impossible in my area. Found one 20 mins ago, but its a manual. Learned manual 15 years ago haven't touched it since. Im mulling it over.

    4x4 OR MT
    tech pack
premium pack MSRP $43,000 the internet price : $ 38500

Yep, I got rejected a few weeks ago too.
I think if we wait them out till the end of the month, and show them we're serious they'll give.

I need some feedback on this one. $1500 manufacture rebate is already included.

    Thank you
