What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

How do you have that delivery date?
I also ordered and the dealership haven’t gotten back to me about any ETA on the next shipment.
Im in Canada tho, if that makes a difference.

Saw a semi full of brand new tacomas yesterday on my way home work, San Diego.

 

Now that the rebate has changed, does anyone know what happens if we agreed to an OTD price and I put down a deposit? Am I locked into the $1750 rebate even though I don’t take delivery until June 25th?

 

You can only get whatever is available when you actually pay for it, which you can't do until they have it. So sadly not.

I'm in canada , I had to order too yesterday because there ain't one. They told me september or octerber for mine. I'm getting a access cab with the manual tranny in black .

My dealer told me the rebates will be locked in on the day the unit comes off the truck.

 

Pittsburgh zip is listing $1500 cash incentive. I’m in 29455. Listing nothing for cash rebate. I’m kind of freaking out and don’t want to make this call.

Depends on the dealer I'm guessing, just did this with my brother's new escape, we had to back date the paperwork, not sure every dealer or TFS works that way or would allow it, usually its whatever rebates are available at delivery from the few who have allocated builds and had to wait that missed out on big rebates.

 

Hmm. Are you getting at that there might be exceptions made due to waiting excessive amounts of time due to factory shut down?

 

Not at all what I said. Simply I do not know, I can speak to my brother and his Ford purchase with back dated paperwork and what other members here have experienced having only getting the rebates at the time of delivery that are available. I have no idea TFS or Toyota's policy, but I doubt they let you just take prior incentives, there's a reason they have expiration dates and adjust every month.

I had this question when I put down my deposit on my deal. I was hesitant to put anything down just cuz I was waiting to see if deals get better in the coming months.
In Canada, Toyota has this “red tag days” during late summer/early fall where they discount all the current models to make way for the next years model.
The sales manager told me that our discussed price and rate will not change as long as I put down a deposit on the order and if Toyota gives out more incentive before the ordered truck arrives then I would be eligible for those as well.
Not sure if other dealership do this or if this is just another salesman bs to get me to put a deposit... but I have all of this in an email transcript just incase they try to back out on their words.

Maybe it is a dealership to dealership base decision

edit: mind you we don’t have the $1750 rebates here, the promo that we had was just rate reduction which is basically 0%

 

Just got my truck a few minutes ago.

Sticker price: $37,328
Sale price: $31,900 (including the cash back deal)

About a 14% difference. I did the cash back since I put a lot of money down to the point where 0% would have saved me less.

Dealer sheet:
