2020 TRD Off-Road, Cement, DC, AT, Short bed
    MSRP 39,184
    Tech Package, All weather Mats
    No dealer add ons
    Price before TTL - $35,717.67
    Discount 1-(#5/#2)*100=% off MSRP) = 8.85%
    Incentive- 1.9% APR financing
    OTD - $39,000
    No trade in
    Date purchased - 9/15
    Took Delivery -9/24
    Georgia

So I used the Costco Auto program and called almost every dealer around me (there are 17 around the Atlanta area). I even tried NC and Florida bc it was hard to find a Cement TRD OR with only the tech package.
I then hit up the dealer 10 mins away from me with the costco quote sheet and they beat it by a little.

Upon delivery I noticed the front bumper was cracked in the wheel well during transport. They asked me if I still wanted the truck (they will put a new bumper on) and I told them to give me a discount on a tonneau cover. So they gave me the Bakflip for $650 installed. They got a new bumper put on after a week in the body shop I also kept the old bumper for when I add a winch/bumper combo later which require cutting the bumper anyway. So I saw it as a silver lining to this whole ordeal.

The customer relations rep named Terry is a real asshole at Atlanta Toyota. Had the hardest time trying to explain to him the bakflip is not the same as the OEM cover. He kept insisting it was and gave me a huge attitude. Told me "We can just sell this truck to another customer so take it or leave it" when this whole bumper issue was discovered by me (not by an employee who was supposed to do an inspection btw). Just an FYI for those of you in the ATL area. Avoid him at all costs.

    Edit 1.9% not 0.9

is that 0.9% APR from Toyota in your region? So Cal still shows as 1.9% for 2020.

I got my 2020 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road Edition, 4x4, Double Cab, Long Bed, V6 Automatic Transmission for $37,076.03 (after 7% state tax + all fees + tag transfer) back in March 2020. It came with free Weathertech floor mats from the dealership and free window tints, they also put Paint Protection Film on some small areas of the truck (not sure if it comes like that from the factory or if the dealership did it) but there was no extra charge for that. The finance guy tried to upsell me hard on extra warranty and addons, he was trying to upsell me for over an hour when I was signing the paperwork and kept asking me why I wasnt interested in the addons until I politely asked him to please stop trying to convince me because the dealership was about to close and we still hadnt finished all the paperwork yet.

First thing I did to it was get some Clazzio Leather Seat Covers, WeatherTech Mud Flaps (sadly I didnt get them at the dealership, wish I did because I got some rock chips driving home from the dealership), Weathertech Sunshade (the sun is brutal in South Florida), and the last thing I did to it was get some RCI 5 degree rock sliders. My next plan is to get it detailed, get the rock chips fixed, put paint protection film on the doors + tailgate, then get a camper shell.

This is what it looks like after I just finished getting the rock sliders installed (the protective wrap is still on them and everything :p )

It took me forever to find this car at the price and options that I wanted. The dealer was very easy to work with, Star Toyota of Bayside (this is in NYC). Go see Scott. They never tried to force me into add ons that I didn't need and all the employees were down to earth. We had some solid conversations outside of buying the car lol

2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD OR DCSB AT 4x4
    Color: Midnight Black Metallic
Options: OR Premium Package, technology package, Paint Protection Kit, All weather mats/door sill protectors, black oval tube steps, bed mat
    MSRP: $44,427
    Final Sale Price: $41927
    Percentage off MSRP: 5.6%
    Trade-in: 2010 Nissan Pathfinder LE 4x4 125k miles
Trade-in offer: $5000 (transmission needed a valve body so i'm happy to dump it)

    Tax (8.625%): $3271
    Dealer fee: $75
    Inspection fee: $10
    Tire disposal fee: $12.50
    Total Amount due: $41360
    Less cash deposit (-): $1000
    Toyota Rebate (-): $1000
Total amount due: $39,360 (registration included, I guess they included it somewhere in the price because they didn't itemize it anywhere)

Financed through dealer's bank, valley financial
$39,360 @ 2.94%, 72 months. They beat my credit union which was 3.14%. Amounts to $250 savings over 6 years. It all counts, right?

Thank you, so far I really love it, its my first truck too :) when I went to go buy it all the local dealerships only had Tacoma's in colors like white and black, they had like a lot full of white trucks and like 5 black trucks so I had to drive 175 miles each way to get my truck from a dealership in another city in Barcelona Red with the longbed configuration because each dealership only stocks 1-2 longbed configuration trucks and they were usually in either black or white.

One tip I recommend is to check on the Autonation website and search for the truck you want nationally because I saw that Autonation had a $1,500 rebate on the truck in another state and I told the Autonation guys that unless they give me that rebate on the truck that I would get a plane ticket to the other state, buy the truck over there, and drive it back home. The rebate wasnt available locally but they did price match the truck from the other state after I bargained with them over email, I already had the price bargained over email before I drove the 175 miles to their dealership.

Yeah I took some pics on page 230 of this thread (towards the bottom, Post#4593): https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/clazzio-leather-seat-covers.414702/page-230

Ive been doing some 4wd shopping also the last couple weeks. Ive noticed almost 70% of the TRD off road 4x4 are Cement.
nothing wrong with the color. its actually my 3rd choice between Quicksand and Voodo. I just cant find them. All are cement, any reason why? Just curious

Cement is my 3rd choice too. Was hoping to find one in MGM or silver.

In my area cement is not too common. The MGM and white are extremely common. Voodoo is a unicorn.

After reading the sketchy “LED” headlights some forum members received on their Tacomas, I don’t think I would ever buy from an Autonation dealership.

:rofl:you think AutoNation has a sketchy underground bootleg LED Headlights ring going on? :p I would have purchased from any Toyota dealership near where I live but AutoNation just happend to give me the best price, many dealerships refused to give me prices over the phone or email and kept trying to dig information out of me. I even tried the Costco Auto buying program and I found that I was getting better offers without it by negotiating on my own.

There was a thread where someone received their truck with aftermarket led bulbs in the headlights and fogs instead of the real led headlights. It was probably used as dealer marketing. That is sketchy from a dealer because they probably weren't even dot rated.

There were at least 2 separate TW members who realized they had aftermarket LED bulbs installed in their Tacomas from Autonation. The trucks they bought were advertised as having LED lights, which they assumed were the actual OEM LED lights, but were not. These lights are not DOT approved since the projectors are made for halogen bulbs.

do you have the links to the post?
I purchased the first honda from autonation in 2007. I tried to go back to get our family van in 2014 and no one even bother to return my email. I ended up purchasing it from the other Honda Dealership.

I have not read much good reviews on AutoNation dealerships around my area. May be it would be better in some other states.

Get them lower, I would say 37,025 is a good price. Around 7% off msrp. You are currently sitting at 1.9% off msrp.
