Was this a new 2020? Which dealer did you buy from? I’m in Reno too and looking to get a DCSB OR within the month if possible and it seems like you got a good deal!

No. I went out of state. The toyota dealer of davis. He's family . I also got a 750$ rebate for military as well as no sales tax because I had an exemption letter from my deployment, you will have to pay tax unless you are exempt

    Hey guys,

New to the forum. I recently put a $500 deposit down for a 2021 Tacoma ORLB here in salt lake, Utah on December 2nd. Today i found out that the truck isn't going to be here till feb 17th (2.5 months of waiting) I've attached the invoice the dealership sent me. They are giving me another $500 for accessories because of the 2.5 months wait. I wanted to see if i'm getting a good deal or not. Thanks for all your help!!!!!

I wouldn't take this deal because I think you can do better especially waiting 2.5 months, but then again I don't know the market in SLC. This is about ~6%... I would call around and tell them what you are looking for and that you have a deal in hand and looking for someone to beat it. Then once you got something else in hand - call the Wang dealership and tell them you are going to pull your deposit unless they can beat your new offer and you'll stop shopping around if they can do 44k out the door.

I kind of agree with @brenguy. But don't know how the market is in your area. If you were in California from what others post I'd say take the Wang deal and run because california seems to pay msrp and sometimes dealer mark up on TRD models.
I got my local dealer selling at msrp and in July I just emailed a few sales managers at other dealers asking for their most competitive price on the SR5 4x4 I wanted. I got an offer that was about 8% off. Msrp. That was a dealer in maryland and I I'm in southern Pennsylvania. So it does vary depending upon local market. I'd still reach out to other dealers and see what they offer.

I picked up my '20 Barcelona Red TRD Sport in October out the door for 39K cash. If this one lasts as long as my previous Taco did (an '06) this will be my last truck. The new one has more bells and whistles than I would ever get on my own but it was the only manual tranny in the tri-state area and the last TRD on the lot so I grabbed it.

I'm not crazy about the Tonneau cover, we'll see if it grows on me.
