Very True factoring in most dealers won’t wheel and deal on new pros.

If I was offered 40k for the loaded OR with a 3 month wait, I would still be driving my '13 waiting for February. As it was, nobody offered more than a 2k difference between a loaded OR and the Pro I ended up with.

Oh, and shout out to the sales person at Jim Norton OKC who tried to tell me there was no difference between the '19s and the '20s.

If the difference between my OR and a pro was only $2k I would have bought the pro for sure. In the SoCal market the difference between my discounted OR and a pro at or above MSRP would have been more like $7-8k.

I would buy a Pro for 10% off MSRP.

No, someone else actually bought it while I was in the middle of negotiation. I ended up with a decent place out of Kansas. Only $350 additional charge for delivery to my door.

In my experience, Jim Norton Toyota, is one of the highest priced dealers in the south. When I was shopping for a used 2015, they were consistently higher than the market and would not negotiate.

No, they are sooooooo much better than the halogen units in every way. I know I would hate myself for not checking the box on $480 option that makes a massive difference.

Same for me. When I originally started looking and saw that the MSRP on a loaded OR was so close to a Pro, I was leaning towards a Pro. But the discount I got on the OR made it an easy choice vs paying MSRP on a Pro.

Good point. With the exception of the Pro, most dealerships have at least two grand off. The Pro’s are going for MSRP. No market adjustments.

Alot of those are factoring in the $750 rebate right now on 2020s. I always negotiate without the rebate, you should never let them try to make that a part of the deal, especially since the lower financing rate is usually the better option, depending on region/rate.
