Question- are the prices paid quoted in this thread include the destination charge or is that part of the TTL?

It should be included in the prices people are saying they paid.
The "delivery, processing and handling fee" from Toyota should be part of the MSRP and not tacked on after price negotiations or as part of TTL.

I included it with my price. The only thing I did not include was tax, since it varies greatly between states.

Saved $5,397 off of MSRP this weekend on my '20 TRD OR DC AT 4X4
    MSRP $44,938
    Price paid $39,541

    I added the 10 year/125k platinum coverage for $2,045

    For those who like details
    • MSRP includes shipping
    • $1,250 Toyota rebate, the rest in dealer incentives
    • Base price= 36,965 +Premium (4,285), Advanced Tech (1,670), tonneau (650), floor mats/sill protector (248), shipping (1,120)
    • No hidden or dealer fees were tacked on to price paid
    • This was their internet advertised price so I didn't need to haggle (except on the svc. contract, that started around $3.8k and I showed the finance manager the quoted prices from this thread)
    • Purchased through Mountain States Toyota in Denver and Nick was great

Good deal... I find with all the info available right now, dealers are pretty upfront once you show a little knowledge.

Good point. I wonder if there's a plug and play upgrade for the factory installed cameras... something to look into.

I really hate to keep harping on this, but it's only helpful to Tacoma shoppers if you give exact numbers, the MSRP and exactly what you paid before taxes and fees, so the discount percentage can be calculated. It's also helpful to include where you purchased your truck. Thanks!

My apologies, negotiated price was 40,250, MSRP was 45,051, I had them add auto lock, cargo divider, and wheel locks all included in the 40,250 (cost as quoted for the addons was 685).
total discount as I calculated is 5486 or 11.99% discount.
Truck was purchased from Pedersen Toyota in Fort Collins, Co. I worked with Chris Compton.

Gulf states Toyota is like a cartel. Legally has to have the actual msrp in the USA, hence the 36k from Toyota. Then GST or SET gets their mitts on it, and adds in their bit, and now you have a non-msrp msrp so they can then discount off that number. Still a good price 33k off of 36k, call it 37k with some value in the add-on items.

Great deal! And they didn't even add on a bunch of accessories. That's the same configuration I ordered in cement with the long bed and no accessories.

    A few.
Not a bad idea to state if you had a trade in vehicle or did a straight purchase with no trade also.

Sorry, i meant to say it was $34.5k. I got mixed up, I was looking at another 2019 Tacoma that was offered to me for that other price. I switched up there numbers.

Was just quoted $41,109 + 598 dealer fee+TTL for 2020 TRD OR Long Bed in Cement with Premium Package, Technology Package, and Toyoguard Platinum (no LED headlight or Advanced Tech). MSRP is $45,210 which works out to a hair over 9% off (not including dealership fees). Thinking I won't go for it unless they get to $39,300 which is 13% off MSRP. Might be a push since it is at another dealership (same company). Not a ton of Long beds around either. Still torn on that. Prefer the look of SB but think LB would be more practical for hauling projects and camping with my family of 4. Would be my first Taco since I was 18 (wasn't even a Taco but a beat up 88 Toyota Pickup).

I would tell them to keep the Toyoguard Platinum and keep working the price down

The truck I am looking at has the Toyoguard Platinum also. Is this just a box of liquids? On mine, they also added the $109 trailer hitch!

I plan on dumping these two.

I see the truck this coming Monday.

From what I can tell its 2 oil changes, undefined paint treatment, and interior cloth treatment. The vehicle I'm looking at has a leather interior so I don't think they even treat the seats which is half the deal. Plus I'm guessing its some sort of PFOA/PFAS chemical and I don't want my kids riding around in an interior treated with that.
