    That’s a good deal. What’s the price minus tax/title/fees?

Mine was $36.5k sticker (Sport 2wd). I got it for invoice minus the $1250 rebate. My trade (14 Taco 4cyl 2wd) at "Very Good" on KBB was between $13k and $14.3K trade in value. They tried to give me $13k for it. Got them up to $16k on the last weekend of the year. Just under $19k otd. Did a lot of research. Pretty happy overall with my deal. Tough with the trade.

41k exactly O.T.D. after TTL (NC is 3% tax)
TRD Premium sport and Technology package
Toyogaurd Platinum (4yrs instead of 2yrs services and int/ext protective coating??)
Full hood, door, mirrors clear film protection
    Cargo Bed LED lights

I know there will be better and worse deals out there, but I was happy being in the middle and they had the Cement with black leather I wanted in stock.

More importantly my wife said if I didn't come home with a truck tonight AND she had to hear "one more f'kn word about colors or packages or had to look at any more pictures of new trucks that she would stab me in my sleep". So basically I took the deal or risked dying in my sleep.

Might as well get a pro for that price. You talking about auto nation Toyota in Irvine?

Here is the offer I have. Denver area.

2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road DCSB with Tech Package. MSRP is $39,078. After discount and rebates offer is $34,563 + TTL. That offer includes the $1,750 incentive available. Dealer discount is $2,765.

Just wondering if that is a good deal or not given the incentive amount.

I would wait until October. My sister bought a leftover brand new 2019 4Runner TRD Off-Road X-Series (A Southeast Package similar to the PRO minus the suspension and skid plate). She bought it on the last day of the month on Halloween and scored a $5,300 discount using her own financing from her credit union with no trade in. Here is the paperwork to prove it.

What dealer did you work with? I'm in the Raleigh area and talking to Fred Anderson but we couldn't agree on a price in late Decmeber, then the holidays hit and I stopped trying. The truck I'm looking at is almost the same as yours except long bed and minus bed lights and they won't come down below $41,000 + TTL which I think is about $2k too much (or more than I'm willing to pay). Think dealers are still eager to move trucks in Jan with Toyotathon still on or now that the month has rolled they don't care?

I believe my wife and your wife may have been talking!

The major ones are 8” CarPlay / AA Head Units, Power Drivers Seat and Available LED Headlights. There are also some styling changes like grills, maybe someone else can jump in on this change as I did not own a 3rd gen. until 2020.

I think you’re better off getting the current model year for an extra $1k. Your resale value will be better. In the end at worst it would even out.

Could anyone tell me what "ED Audio Plus" is? I have looked through the brochure's fine print and all over Toyota's website and can't find any mention but it is a $499 option installed on a truck I saw.

In 2020 the automatic transmission was also recalibrated to hold gears longer.

Not knocking anyone and I totally understand those of you who will instantly rip out the factory suspension........ Other than you guys mentioned............................. Why buy a loaded TRD OR when you can grab a Pro model for $3k more??? Guys who truly need a full sized bed for work etc.... I understand you guys to. Most get a TRD OR and then spend a year trying to make the truck look like a Pro. Zero savings , especially with resale if you ever sell or trade in.

If you can find a dealer to buy a pro for only $3k more than a premium you should probably do it. I have a 2020 TRD OR Premium and I paid more like $10k less for mine than a pro out the door.

In my neck of the woods your paying at least MSRP for 2020 Pro’s but dealers are discounting OR’s and Sports 10-12%. The price difference is way more than $3k.

If your patient I would recommend waiting until the end of the year to purchase a “leftover” 2020 Pro when the 2021 Tacoma’s hit the lots in October. Discounts should be available, especially around this time next year.

Yeah, area obviously makes a difference. I could snag a 2020 for what I paid for my 2019 at the dealer I use. 42.8 is what I paid for my 19 AT. A OR was like 3k cheaper loaded. Not worth it to me personally unless I was going to rip out the suspension when I bought it. Cool cool
