Ganley in Akron. It wasn't the best process, but if you stand your ground you can get a good deal with them. They started with ridiculous numbers at first, so I had to push pretty hard to get 10%

That’s a killer deal, especially in Army Green where dealers wants MSRP or a premium because of the hard to get color.

Just FYI: Was browsing CarMax just to see what was out there. They have an agreement with a dealer in the Maryland area and I saw this:
https://www.carmax.com/car/18460234 2020 TRD-OR fully loaded with ADV Tech, Premium, LED lights, tonneau cover, blackout package, all weather mats, predator steps, etc.
They have it listed at $38,658 + Tax + $99 doc fee. That's basically cheaper than anything I've seen for a really loaded truck.

A few weeks ago I spoke with a dealer that I've used before and they're custom ordering a truck for me, as they cannot find what I want within a 150 mile radius. The truck I've ordered is the following:

2020 Tacoma TRD Sport DCSB 4x4, manual transmission, Voodoo Blue with floormats (non-floormat option isn't even available to be ordered for NJ)

    MSRP: $36,703
    Negotiated Price: $35,300 before TTL

I know this may not be the best deal but I'm stuck since it's a custom order directly thru Toyota. In any case, it'll be delivered by the end of March.

I put my deposit down and ordered my Army Green TRD PRO last week. MSRP plus TTL was $49,473. They allowed me $20,000 trade in on my 2012 Sport. The price I negotiated OTD was my truck and $26,000 or $3,473 under MSRP including TTL.

I already have my own financing approved at 2.99%. I'm hoping the dealership will try and beat that interest rate when the truck arrives to get my business. Payment will run right around $440/month for 48 months.

I also picked up my 2020 Tacoma at Ganley in Akron. I had a pleasant buying experience. Worked with Brian Elmore.

That looks like a good deal. Nice truck too. I'd jump on it.

That's a great deal! Mind sharing which dealer? Was it Vann York? In over near Raleigh, about an hour from High Point.

Being I just ordered the truck last week and don't even have a build date yet. I would prefer to keep the exact dealer to myself for the time being.
Not trying to be an ars. But I just don' t want to possibly jeopardize my deal. After my truck is shipped I'll be glad to give the dealer that gave me such a good deal, all the free advertising I can. He was $2,300 under the next 4 closest dealers I tried to negotiate with.
Two were at $28,300 and my truck. One was $30,000 and my truck and another was $31,000 and my truck. All OTD.
I will say this. I have bought 2 or 3 new Toyota's from Vann York including my current Tacoma. Vann York was one of the other 4.

@heroe82, inform the salesman that you will sign paperwork with 12% off MSRP.

That would be a $4,692 discount, or $34,107. Friday is the last day of the month, see how hungry they are to meet January sales goals.

Just picked up a 2020 Cement Gray TRD OR Premium w/Advanced Tech Pkg, LED Lights+Fogs, Bedmat, all-weather floor mats, door edge guards, wheel locks, and oval tube steps yesterday.

    MSRP: $45,711
    PAID: $39,469

Works out to 13.66% below MSRP.

Prices do NOT include TTL, but they didn't sneak anything weird in. I did do a trade but negotiated new truck price first before I brought the trade to the table. Trade was $12,250 on a 2009 TRD OR. 1 minor accident on my 2009 on carfax hurt the trade a little, but I still think it was pretty good.

Did you end up pulling the trigger on a truck? If you're in the bay area and haven't checked out Freeman in Santa Rosa, give them a shot. I managed 14.33% below MSRP in March '19 for a '19 OR DCSB MT w/ Tech + Premium.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm still undecided but will give them a try if I decide to go forward.

Well, at least some details. I was referring to the comments like "I paid $40333 out the door", which is almost as meaningless as "I scored mine for $440/month".
