Nice, thats a really good deal, 10% is norm / good, 12% is usually about as much as their willing to budge, you definitely did some work or they just needed a sale.

thanks! i did do a lot of work trying to get the best deal i could. i made a spreadsheet with about 25 toyota dealers north and south of me and then looked on all of their web sites for the exact same truck (price, options, packages, color, etc.) that i wanted to buy. finally narrowed it down to 6 dealers that had the same trucks and then started calling the internet sales managers and getting quotes. went back and forth between a couple of different dealers until i felt it was time to buy. took about a week to get er' done. also, tried the costco car buying program deal and that was only about 9% off MSRP.

I thought I traded a lot, but you’ve definitely got me beat lol. What was the shortest amount of time between trades?

Yeah I dont know how they could sell it so low. I was originally going to buy an SR from a different dealer but this was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. Kendall Toyota in Eugene OR if anyone was wondering. They always seems to have awesome deals.

Thats quite a jump man from SR to nicely equipped TRD OR. I've bought 12 tacomas, think the best I've ever done is just over 13% at end of year. Nice work!

That one was just a fling, huh? lol

I traded for a 2019 Tundra back in October, but I'm kind of missing the Taco now. The Tundra is a great truck, but it's not the best daily driver. It's just huge. I like the Tundra, but I think I looked forward to driving the Tacoma more. I'm going to give the Tundra a chance, but I may be looking for another Tacoma down the road. There's also an equally good chance that my wife will murder me when I mention trading again, so who knows? lol

Love them Vettes. I've had mine since 1996 so if I feel the need for speed I hop in the Vette.

If that's Gresham Toyota, they REALLY wanted to get rid of that truck. Salesman must've had someone back out of that deal. I've only ever had good luck at Toyota of Gladstone with deals

Just show up with it in the driveway lol. Ya it was a crazy deal on a left over 19 Sport, I jumped on it and then regretted trading my off road and not waiting for a 2020. I love this new truck so so so much, fluid filmed it just this afternoon (we have a few more weeks of snow).

Damn I've been buying these trucks for a while, 15% is insane, you can tell sales are in the slump.

yeah, it was Gresham Toyota. first time i've ever used them, had an awesome experience (not to mention the fresh baked cookies of many varieties) and would recommend them to anyone.
