Not a bad deal, it's around 10% off and from what I head that is about the average discount that can be negotiated at many dealerships. I'm in Austin too and Cedar Park Toyota or Mound Toyota may offer a similar deal depending on what they have in stock. If you don't mind driving 2hrs to Houston Fred Hass Toyota is the highest volume dealer in Texas and would likely match such a price as well.

I just bought a 2019 TRD pro auto for $47266.00(plus taxes), no dealer fee’s. I’m in Canada and the new MSRP on it was $58,700 plus dealer fee’s. So about 20% off MSRP. Was going to buy a 2020 off road premium but they wanted the same price as the 19 Pro so I felt the Pro was better route to go.

that’s pretty much what I paid for my 2020. Dec 2019 paid 36 plus TTL minus trade. OR with no packages didn’t want any of that. No steps but it came with guards and a bed mat that I promptly sold. Rhode Island.

Seeing you paid similar for the same makes me feel better about buying early instead of holding out.

First new vehicle in my life and bought on February 29, pretty fun.

2020 TRD Offroad 4x4 DCSB (MGM)
    Premium Offroad package
    Advanced Tech package
    LED with LED DRL package
    All weather floor liner

    MSRP 44,773

Agreed to 39,900 before taxes, fees, and 1,000 customer cash.

38,900 net after customer cash, before taxes and fees.

Almost 11% off MSRP before customer cash and 13% after.

Another newbie here. After years of wanting a Tacoma, I finally picked one up on Friday. Thanks to everyone who has posted their purchase prices, I found it very helpful while negotiating. Here's what I bought:

    2020 Tacoma TRD Pro
    Magnetic Gray Metallic
    Automatic Transmission
No extra accessories, parts, add-ons (added Predator Step Tubes and mud guards the next day then removed the mud guards cuz I didn't like the cluttered look)

    $46,665 MSRP
    + 1,120 Delivery and Destination
    $47,785 Total MSRP

$41,900 Purchase Price I paid before tax, title, and fees. No trade-in.

    Thanks again!

Wow you got so lucky, nobody is discounting Pros in my area. They mark them up from MSRP.

Great price. FYI the delivery and destination is included in the MSRP. You still got a great deal. What part of the USA are you in?

Just fyi if you paid extra for delivery and destination you paid for it twice. Delivery and destination is already included in the sticker price.

I'm in Boise, ID. I wasn't sure how to type the delivery and destination but on the window sticker it was listed so figured I'd break it out to clear any confusion. Either way, I feel I got a sweet deal.

Lol. Sounds about right. I think he was confusing “entune prem” with prem package. Hard time believing a prem package truck at that price especially since he never listed MSRP.

My wife told me to just buy what I want rather than settle for something that I wouldn't be 100% happy with; I like her style. I'm also not one to swap out parts, upgrade, lift, tweak my truck with aftermarket stuff so I'd prefer to just get what comes stock and only making minor cosmetic upgrades going forward. I also love the hood-scoop.

Also, the fact that I got a great deal on the TRD Pro made it an easy decision. The lowest I could get the decked out TRD-Off Road with all of the bells and whistles (LED's, leather, sensors, etc) was $38,700 (MSRP $45K+) and then I'd want to put on new TRD Wheels and TRD grill which would have come to another $1,400 or so. So I was looking at approx $40,100. Made sense to me to spend the extra $1,800 to get the TRD Pro.

Regardless of what you buy, these are amazing trucks so get whatever makes the most sense for you.

I'm a fan of this line of thinking. If buying what you want means you hold onto the truck for longer, the extra options cost may very well be offset by delaying the purchase of your next vehicle. The high residual value of the Tacoma mutes that effect a bit, but it still applies.

That’s a really great price on a loaded OR. I’m assuming though it had the Premium, Tech, and LED packages.

I don’t necessarily agree the Pro is a no brainer. If they ever discounted them like all other cars and trucks, I would be more open to the idea.
