Great, informative video. Thanks for posting!

I am planning on putting half down and already have my rate and loan through my bank (2.5% for 60 months or 2% for 48 months). Does anybody know if I should hold off on mentioning that until the finance office as well?

Id hold off until the end. If they ask, say you will be financing but don't bring up your bank. If they think you are financing with their banks they will get a kickback so they will be more willing to give you a deal. Then when you get the price finalized whip out your loan.

Go back a page or two and watch that video about paying cash. It covers putting some down or financing somewhere else as well, very informative

Talk to your salesman and see if they will do something for you. I talked with mine and they are giving me some AirPods and crazy discounts on parts that I wanted to get when I purchased but decided to get later.

Hey guys so I just purchased a 2020 Off-road dcsb with a basic package, it came with led fogs, bed step, tail lock, tint, clear paint protection, and lifetime warranty. Traded my 2017 off-road with 38000 miles for it which I owed 24500 and they gave me 26000. I ended up getting the truck for 33948 out the door, financed through my credit union at 3.7%. Was that a good deal? I feel like I got a decent deal but I need some reassurance

I would say it is fair as well. Honestly if it were me I would have dropped the warranty and made them take the price of the clear paint protection off.

The dealer automatically gives the warranty and the paint protection is from factory so I couldn't take that off

Paid $46,500 plus tax for my ‘20 Pro. Financed right around $43k after down payment. 7% sales tax here in Ohio.

    Couldn’t be happier!

Nice truck! I'm trying to work a few dealers around here in the PNW down to about $46k for the Pro but I'm getting a lot of eye-rolling. Either you give me the deal or I wait!

That’s inline with most. Don’t bank on the lifetime warranty if it’s like most offered on drivetrain. After factory warranty they will disqualify most any problem as normal wear.

I just bought a silver 2019 TRD Sport access cab, manual 6spd, 3.5L V6 at an Oregon dealer. Washington dealers wouldn't "dicker" with me (the jerks) so I hopped the fence. Found a dealer that was eager to play. Apparently the last manual 2019 available in the west and since it was December they had it on their lot the entire year. The sticker said $36k but the website said $35k and after a couple hours of negotiating over a couple of days (all electronically too) I got them down to an astonishing final price of $30,552+tax+license! Plus they threw in the $199 dealer options that were installed (thick weather mats and door jam seals [whatever that is]) for free! I bought a one-way bus ticket to Portland for $11.99 and had the salesman pick me up at the station and after we signed the papers I drove my new truck home 300 miles, and immediately bought 4 brand new General Grabbers ($840...ouch!)

Anyway, YMMV and the 20's got a price increase with nothing really added to make it worth the extra, something about adding Apple iplay or something to the entertainment system. So I'm a happy camper. It pays to haggle, never let them bully you! Good luck!

Been thinking about trading in my 2017 for a 2020. Only 15k miles on it and it’ll be paid off next year. Decisions, decisions......

You'd be getting all of the TSS features and Android Auto/Apple Carplay headunit. That's worth a ton to me, but it may not be to you.
