How about this can always drop 43k plus on a santa cruz lol. Now Tacoma doesn't look that expensive.

Lol. But to my original post on this subject: A 2x4 (not 4x4) for 45k out the door. That's pretty pricey for a 2x4.

sadly it’s way below the average lol.
The latest available numbers are from May, when the average price of a new car hit $47,148, according to KBB.

    You didn’t detect my sarcasm.

We’ve been discussing price and lead times for over a year.

About a month ago I bought a TRD Sport with a few options for $42k, didn’t pay a dime over MSRP.

I picked up a '22 TRD Sport on Saturday for MSRP. It came with a few options, the final amount ended up being about $42k. This was at Haley Toyota in Richmond, VA.

I happened to have a good relationship with my dealer. I have bought 6 cars from the same sales guy in like 5 years haha.

but on this Tacoma build I’ve had some deals so good on parts you think I would have slept with my entire town.

I paid MSRP for my allocated ACLB Off-road. No tech package but the "TRD Premium Off Road with options" package.

I think after all said and done it came out to 41,800 or so. Didn't buy any warranty, extra, etc...
