    i wanna know why the fuck gas prices jump around so much. Its not right. there is no logical reason for a 30 cent increase in one day then it going right back down again.

    there are 2 reasons this time.

    one: oil companies are ANTICIPATING a shortage from the middle east due to ongoing conflicts, however are still recieving the same amounts

    two: stock prices went up also so they are earning a double profit

    Who buys a 6 cyl truck puts over sized tires on it and then worries about fuel prices? People will pay $3.00 for 12oz of beer all night long or drink a $2 bottle of designer "filtered tap water" ...but squeal at $3.00 gasoline.

    I bought my truck knowing gas could easily go to $5 a gallon. Hell the rest of the world is already there!! Can we drill our own? Probably. But there is a segment of society that believes higher gas prices will force people into ecology s lets not drill lest a pelican gets dirty now and then. I refuse to bow to them. At $10 a gallon I'm still driving my truck. Thankfully we have no smog checks here and South Carolina is not inclined to buy into the BS, Ask a Canadian or European if they feel sorry for the US consumer of fuel...LOL

    Anyone with half a brain and a few extra dollars would have started buying fuel stocks when BP had their little blown out of proportion error in the gulf , That is the only way to neutralize the cost of fuel. Invest in the companies that provide it. When gas goes up, short sell the car makers, When gas goes down buy GM and Ford.
