    3.86 near albany NY. Note, some stations along certain routed have higher prices. I have drive 2 miles and get fuel for about 15 cents less per gal.

    Paid $5.90 a gallon yesterday. Get use to it. Its about to get worse.

    If your hoping the boss man is going to regulate the prices, better think again. Putting a price celling on gas prices creats a huge dead weight loss and will screw your economy even more.

    A huge drop in demand and increase in supply is the only way to drop the prices. That and regulate gas quality/grade across the us, not by state. That would decrease the refining costs.

    I kinda miss Oklahoma. Ethanol-free is an advertising point there. ND isn't too bad though, haven't had trouble finding ethanol-free. Gotta love the lack of population!

    At this point it doesn't seem to make much difference in how my Tacoma runs, but I know long-term it'll eff it up. I had a 12-year-old Corolla that would run funny for a month every time I had to put ethanol in it.

    We're up to $3.849 here, but it was kind of a pricey spot along the Interstate with no other stations for 20 miles in any direction. $0.10 higher than yesterday at the same station though.

    This, but for fuck's sake... even regulating by state would be an improvement.

    California and their own little version of the EPA... the CARB (and it's districts) have at least 22 different fuel blends JUST FOR THIS FUCKING STATE!

    It's by district, so you can see stations a mile apart that are $0.10-20 different in price.

    Ya... we need FOUR fuel blends across the country.
    85, 87, 89, and 91... and leave the ethanol shit to the booze makers.

    Demand is already low. The are sending the excess production to CHINA.


    The other reason for the high prices are the spot market speculators. Get used to them, they are making MILLIONS.
