What are you paying for a gallon?

i recall 10 or so years ago they (ouside of the USA) wanted to price the crude and gold in Euros

 

We do. The logistics of moving that much crude around the world all because of sulfur content is mind boggling.

 

Fuck me, prices have soared these past few days....I guess the refinery in Saudi Arabia isn't back up and running yet (or prices haven't readjusted if it is).

Premium at our cheapest station in town is now at $4.09/gallon....a week/week and a half ago I was paying $3.65. Sucks

Got to do 1000 miles of driving this weekend too, fortunately we'll be taking my wife's Honda lol. 15mpg with my truck and premium fuel is a pain in the wallet.

I paid $10 yesterday and got 4.1 gallons of 87 gas... Not sure what the price per gallon was

yes, but this is the official thread for complaining about it. So we don't end up with multiple MPG threads (even though we still do)

Normally I don't say anything because I accept that driving a crappy MPG 15 year old vehicle that requires premium is a choice I willingly made...but with the Saudi refinery going down a couple weeks ago it's had a dramatic effect on prices in a short amount of time. Should go down again though soon if what I read about the situation is true.

Gas seemed to gone up and $0.10 increments all of a sudden went up $0.10 today looks like I won't be going nowhere so the answer the dudes quote from above no I am not going to pay those outrageous prices only when I have to to go to work.

Northern MN went from 2.69 to 2.59 today.

 

Since this morning mid grade went up another 10cents! On top of the other 10cents that was added this super early this morning. Bullshit! It is!!

Paid 2.20 to fill up today then saw it at 2.14 at another Murphey's. Aaah.

I'm not posting this to gloat. It is coming down here though so ya'll should be following soon.

 

Seen at a local Chevron in Rancho Cordova, CA (greater Sacramento area):
$4.09/gallon - 87 Octane
$4.25/gallon - diesel

 

Keeps going up in CA while it's going back down everywhere else. Figures.
