    Yup. Here too. My favorite local Arco station (always the cheapest top tier gas in town) is $4.31 for premium this morning. What. The. FUCK is happening and why isn't it on the news?? I listen to the news every morning and afternoon to/from work and I haven't heard one story yet about why gas in CA has skyrocketed over .50c in one week.

    I did pull up a few articles about it and they're saying that it's now because of 2 local refineries here in SoCal that are undergoing long overdue maintenance. Nothing was said about it coming back down anytime soon though, just that it's going up because of that. I have a feeling if it does go down it won't be very much.

    Gonna cost me damn near $70 to fill up my 1st gen this week lol. That's nuts. Thankfully I live ~6 miles from work. This is definitely going to put a dent in my weekend warrior offroad activities though.

    I usually don't trust smaller gas station diesel but well see.

    Diesel is $2.99/gal in Northern VT. It seems to be quite consistent across the stations in the area, irrespective of the +/- $.25 change in gas per gallon that's commonly seen.

    Still not used to the fact that I can only fill up at about 2/3 of the stations around here as well.

    :( :luvya: Was gonna try and do some easy trails up in Big Bear this weekend, but like @TXpro4X4 says I will probably cancel that plan now. Be one thing if gas was up a few cents or whatever, but we've gone up nearly a dollar per a gallon in a little over a week...it's flipping nuts.

    I guess that's really only an extra $25 or so if I do go out this weekend which isn't the end of the world, but if it isn't slowing down yet I'm afraid of at what point will it finally stop rising?

    What's crazier is I really don't hear anyone talking about it around me out here..haven't heard it on the news or radio. Last time we had a big price hike like this everyone lost their minds. I guess so many people have hybrids and electric cars now that they're just like "meh.."

    I paid 4.10 this morning for 87, 91 was 4.40 and this was a chevron, one of the cheaper ones around me. Others i saw are around 4.40 for 87 and about 4.90 for 91. Pieces of fkn shit CA!
