Where I am in BC is the same. Plus our dealership doesn't budge much on price.

    So far my search for a little discount on a Tacoma TRD Sport in SO CAL has been :eek:;

    Miller - MSRP
    Longo - TINY discount
    Claremont - MSRP
    Puente Hills - MSRP
    West Covina - MSRP
    Crown - MSRP
Tustin - SOLD, while i inquired about it
Riverside - SOLD, while i inquired about it
    Glendale - MSRP
    Toyota Place - MSRP
Orange - SOLD, while i inquired about it
    Torrance - MSRP
    Glendora - MSRP
    Northridge - MSRP
    Hamer - MSRP
    KEYES - MSRP
    Pasadena - Only have a few 4WD
    Penske - MSRP

    Some dealer responses;
"On all our our Tacoma we are currently selling it at MSRPImage_104b58077377c9e50e6bd62cc9e1190149b9f426.gifopen_355d8ef3d71ad3ea43160ab268350925fced93a8.gif"
"Not on this model, most dealers are asking MSRP or over MSRP."
"Hello. Yes. These trucks are limited in inventory right now.
Alot of dealerships are selling them over MSRP. "

This page is great and have found it super helpful in working to find the right price (Proving to be quite the challenge here in CA). Know a while back someone had mentioned the out of state buying process for CA - is there anywhere that this is documented / insights where I could get some more firm details buying out of state as a CA resident?

Boston Area they are like hens teeth, I am picking up a DCLB SR5 Cement for what is list, of course it comes in first week of April, so I lose 1000$ factory rebate, yet paying about the same for an order I put a deposit down on and from the great help i got on this forum i am glad I called around to other dealers(and with a DCLB got lucky around here) as who knows when I would have gotten my ordered SR5 DCLB

I noticed other states have a $1,000 rebate, but California only has $500, what's up with that. Do they have a new incentive every month? The rebate expires tomorrow.

If you shopped middle country, $3500 off that 7570 model is the norm. I shopped that exact truck.

But if distance etc, hassle is too much, then buying local for MSRP is ok.

    Congrats on the truck.

    Same thing happened to me

I had a 2018 taco lease expiring. I ended up dumping it outside and made a nice chunk of change instead of turning in the lease

Yes, when I purchased my 2020 at the end of October of 2020 in the Vancouver area they had 1.9% for 72 months. If I didn’t pay MRSP someone else would. What little inventory they had was moving off the lot fast.

I was surprised by this too. MN,WI,IL, and IN were all $750 for Feb and $500 for March. Incentives are month to month. Did a road trip out west early march for some skiing and was surprised to see UT, CO, WY, NE, ND, SD, and IA were all $1000 in March. $500 was extended through April for MN, WI, IL, and IN.

Ordered: Tacoma Off-Road Premium V6 DCSB

I'm from Alberta Canada, so keep in mind we have some additional fees including a mandatory Plug-In Block Heater charge.

Asking price (all fees and taxes included): $52,385.73
    Total Paid: $49,200.00
    Discount: 6.1%

Considering there are no available Tacomas across the 6 dealers in my city, I am okay with the price! Hope this helps.

2021 Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4, Army Green, Quad-cab with the 6' bed. Pretty basic on the options, no tech packages or anything. I had to order it. It took 6 months total from the time the dealer and I started, to get in the build allocation (had to horse-trade for a spot), get it built and shipped. Picked it up two days ago.

With the $1000 instant rebate, I drove it off the lot for $37,000. Oh, plus $4.26 for some registration fee. LOL. We were joking that I could probably drive it somewhere and make $500-$1000 on the spot, so I guess I'm happy with the deal. Western MT. MSRP was listed at a bit under $40k.

    MSRP $31,975
    SX Package $840
    Delivery $1,175
    Sticker Price $33,990

    less:
    Toyota cash back $500
    Dealer discount $1,500

    paid: $31,990

I started looking for this truck six months ago but the prices were too high and the access cab is very difficult to find in the SF Bay Area.

I ended up finding it at Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa and had a really easy purchase experience with them. I feel that the price was right given the current market conditions. I negotiated the price over the phone then drove up there that evening to pick it up. The only negative of the whole experience was they wouldn’t hold it until the weekend even if I put a deposit down.
