Paid $40,763 + fees for a white 2021 tacoma TRD Off road 4x4 (Technology package, predator steps, etc..)
    Wrote a check for $15,xxx and took a 30k 72mo @ 2.29% auto loan from BOA

    --------------------------------

Temecula Valley Toyota (SoCal) wanted $4k over MSRP for some BS paint protection + alarm yadada
Best they could do is $2k over, otherwise they're going to pass (same/worse from other dealers)

Santa Margarita Toyota quoted MSRP $40,7xx (no mark ups) for a white 2021 tacoma TRD Off road 4x4 (Tech pack, Predator steps, etc)
I was going to make my drive out during the weekend but it sold during the weekday :/

Friday night Temecula Valley Toyota texted and said they could give me MSRP for silver color, so i said i'll bring my checkbook in the morning if they could give me MSRP for the white one they had in the lot.
I was pretty skeptical and suspicious but everything went smooth :)

2020 (not 2021), but, $40,900 for DCLB TRD OR in white. Leather seats. 17K miles on it. More than I wanted to pay, but, had all the bells and whistles I wanted, in my budget & nothing else to be found. In Georgia.

Just got the call from the dealer that my truck now moved to invoice status meaning that it is currently behind a semi driving down the road. Invoice says delivery to the dealership tomorrow and if that's the case it will be ready to get on Saturday. Shipping is screwed up, it has gone from 06/23 to 07/02 to 07/06 to now this Saturday.

I went through Costco Auto Program. I had a signed agreement on an OTD price including TTL of $40,850 for the build I made with options/packages above. When delivery was getting close and I was talking final numbers there was some back and forth because the sales person I originally worked with wasn't there and we just had an email chain and text messages back and forth on price. I had a photocopy of my build spec with $40,850 OTD price signed by their manager but in the end they said that was including a $750 Toyota rebate that they could not honor anymore. So final OTD price got bumped to $41,600.

I was pre-approved at 2.24% @ 60 months through my credit union and they tried to beat that when I showed up. They were able to get a 1.89% through Capital One @ 60 months.

I just laid eyes on mine at the dealer. He text me that it was in and it will be ready for pickup Friday morning. When I went and got groceries just now I drove by and checked it out.

I got a similar deal in June but locked it in Mid May, I think my Residual was at 27k. Do you know if Toyota or US Bank can change that residual once the lease is up? Ive read online that this is a possibility, not sure how common it is though, but seeing how the market is right now anything is possible.

Awesome, picking mine up tomorrow and I can't wait. I already have a bunch of small interior things from tuffskinz planned. Just little red accents to add to the interior that I think they could have done more from the factory.

Only difference from yours and mine is the transmission!

I did the same thing. Dealer tried to get me at 4%, I said I'll come back tomorrow with the check from my cu (it was already end of the day). CU actually approved me at 2.59% for 60 months, but I bs'ed with the finance dude and told them 1.5% for 72 months.

I ended up walking away with 1.79% @ 72 months, but had to buy the bs warranty package. I will be cancelling next month so finance dude can get his commission check (am I too nice?) Costing me ~$72/mo

I got a 2021 TRD OR DCSB in Voodoo Blue with the 6speed for MSRP+Tax. So 41300 (Chicagoland Area) It took a lot of back and forth to not be charged(market adjustment) Promtly drove it across the country to colorado/wyoming/S.Dakota to go wheeling!

    Hey guys,

off topic a bit, but I figured here would be a good place to ask since you all are up to date on the buying process. I’m hoping to buy a 22 when they become available. Ideally a TRD OR 4x4 with DCSB. Only options I’m interested in are the basic tech package and LED lights, but I’d also be fine without them.

This is my first time purchasing a new vehicle, and I’m a bit confused about the whole “allotment” thing. Is it not as easy as just going to my dealer and telling them what I want and they order exactly that for me? Am I at the mercy of the dealer as far as any extra crap they want to install and charge for?

Also, is the Costco program still worth pursuing?

thanks guys, and congrats on your new trucks!

2021 TRD Sport Premium DCSB, adv tech, led lights. $500 under MSRP when the other local dealers were asking $6k over. They also gave me $26k in trade for my 2012 TRD Sport that I bought for $28k back in Jan 2013. New wheels/ tires on the way & now just trying to resist the urge to “low cost” lift with Bilsteins and AAL.

I’ll miss the old girl and the long bed, but the overall deal was too good to pass up.

I'm on the same boat as you... First time purchasing using the "allotment" from any dealer. Went last Friday and talk to the Internet Sales Rep/Costco Program Guy to discuss the truck how I wanted it be built down to the specific color and add-ons. He did his thing on the computer and said will get back to me regarding the allotment order in a week or two. He said cross my fingers since the Voodoo Blue is so hard to come by and will be discontinued after the 2021 build.
