Yeah I got same deal on exact truck. I did sell my 4cyl to Carmax and they paid me 32k. They went back and listed it for 35,998 and sold it within a week. Crazy how people are getting screwed big time.

Not sure what your definition of "loaded" means, but that price does not reflect a fully loaded OR even if it was in March of 2020 when the Pancake hit. Sticker price for a fully loaded OR is and was durring that time around 45-46K. Would you mind sharing with us more details like the example below?

    Example listing:

    1. Year, trim, color, transmission, bed: 2021, SR5, Double, Super White, Automatic, 5 foot bed, V6, 2WD
    2. MSRP (before dealer add-ons): $33,734
    3. Options: All-Weather-Floor Liners
    4. Cost of add-ons: $169
    5. Price before Tax Title License (TTL) including incentive/rebate: $33,403
    6. Discount: 1-(#5/#2)*100=% off MSRP): 1%
    7. Incentive (rebate/customer cash): NA
    8. Price Out The Door (OTD): $37,659
    9. Trade in vehicle(year, make, model, trim): NA
    10. Kelley blue book trade-in value: NA
    11. Trade allowance(amount given for trade): NA
    12. Date purchased: 7/22
    13. State purchased: VA

I paid MSRP for a 2021 OR DC Cement in Baton Rouge. They asked for 2k in markup but I told them I wouldn't pay that and they agreed. New Orleans dealers would only go 1000 over MSRP (Best I could find).

The dealer here I dealt with does zero negotiating but is always about 5% under MSRP. They don't haggle, the next guy gets the same price. You always get an out-the-door price, but you definitely don't get the "best" price you could get. They were also the only dealer in the entire state that would help me get what I wanted. I'll pay more because they actually called me back. Other dealers ghosted me after a month of allocations that didn't match my request. Can't complain considering. I Will update on delivery.

Now, if I got a DCLB OR w/ premium OR for 42 I'd be stoked... but I'm guessing they got a DCSB OR with a few port options

Bought my 2021 TRD Sport 2x4 in voodoo blue last week. Went to Oklahoma for it. Had 6 miles. Truck price was 37k, TTL and 150k miles warranty brought it to 39k. I put 25k down and got a 14k loan at 8% (my credit is BAD).

I've been trying to get a truck since 02/18/21 and live in Oregon(no sales tax). Put a deposit down and had a dealership in WA string me along so got my deposit back and went to a bigger dealership in the area. Two allocations have passed with the new dealer and the next allocation is on Aug 19th. I found a dealer in CA that had 3 inbound trucks coming at the end of Aug with nearly the same specs with the headlight/foglight being different package wise. Should I wait or pay the CA tax? I tried haggle more on the CA, but they won't budge. I hate paying sales tax, but I also want the waiting to be over :annoyed:

Have you confirmed that the Cali dealer isn't adding a massive upcharge? Every cali dealer I talked to were adding anywhere between 5 and 10k and NOT mentioning that up front, the bastards

I would get the WA one. Almost 2k for waiting is worth it to me. Spend that 2k on mods and fun shit instead.

When I want something and waiting is cheaper, I figure out how much money I'm saving per day of waiting. So 2k divided by the difference in days. When waiting isn't just waiting, its "waiting today saved me 400 bucks" or whatever amount, I find that helps

Also, try TrueCar. I entered my parameters, set for 500 miles, and saved the link. Checked it daily. Found my truck within a couple weeks. Bought it last week, had to fly to get it and then drove home.

I paid $44,600 for my TRD Sport 4x4 Premium before TTL. I ordered it plain and dry, no port added options other than the tailgate lock. Dealership threw in some ceramic window tint, and also gave me a student grad discount on windshield insurance even though I’m nowhere near graduating.
