What are you paying for your 2021 Tacoma? (price thread)

Good to know that about the 22's.
Before I found a 21 that was coming in I looked at the same 2019 that the dealer wanted $2300 more for, nuts !
I hope you get that 22 without any problems!

 

Ya, you definitely have to watch these dealers ! They just want you to put money down on "air" so you don't go anywhere else lol

 

@Jakobsmirnoff thanks man! Dealership was pretty painless besides them trying to sell my grandfather a new car, despite him saying he was waiting for a 22 to come in.

NICE!! We have the same truck and I'm pretty sure all I have added on mine are the all weather floor mats too! LOL! The dealer tried to push the Lunar Rock with predator tube steps for like $2k more and I was like I'm pretty sure I can find some nicer aftermarket ones for less. He tried pushing the Lunar Rock one cause it was the one we test drove.

I'm in CA, price out the door came to about $42k, I DID NOT have a trade in. My interest rate is also higher (can't remember) but I know they wouldn't go down on it even with excellent credit (789) when they ran it but with the help of my brother in law we were able to haggle the monthly price down. We were there for FOUR HOURS for the love of all that is car related we were hungry AF. I asked if they had any inventory of a cement Tacoma and they told me it would be $5k more since it was VERY POPULAR in their words. I was told that getting it in Lunar Rock would increase the price. ANYWAY I'm fine with white ya know?? Bought the truck back in November, coming up on a year. VERY HAPPY OTHERWISE

I just bought a used Toyota Certified 2020 TRD Sport w/the Access Cab, and a 6 speed Manual Transmission, w/16K miles on it. Paid $44,000 used, from a Toyota dealer, here in California.
Tried to find a new one, but w/no luck.
Here, Certified Toyota's w/the TRD package appear to be running 40K Plus used, from every place I checked. The demand is greater than the supply.
Models w/the Access Cab, as well as having a 6 speed manual no less, is virtual impossible to find here, so I was damn lucky to find one. Had to drive some 600 miles round trip to check it out, and purchase.
Californians don't like manuals, so anything w/a manual is virtual impossible to find here.
My sister back east, on the other hand, just bought a new 2021 Concrete Gray TRD Offroad, Crew Cab, w/a 6 Speed Manual Transmission, a couple of months ago. She paid, new, around 35K.

 

Nice! I’ve been very happy with how the truck drives. My girlfriend even commented on the smooth ride and she never notices anything like that. Seems like the prices are in line because isn’t everything more expensive in California? Without factoring in my trade the price was $39.2k so sounds about right. I’m happy. I know I didn’t get a “deal” but the way these trucks hold value it didn’t bother me. I felt lucky to find the one I wanted so quickly honestly. I love the white. If you keep it clean it just pops going down the road.

We paid $43k pre tax and registration through Costco. Placed order in February and got the truck in mid August. Ordered our DCLB Barcelona Red TRD OR with premium tech package, leather, sunroof, LED lights. Once the truck finally got into town on the barren lot the dealership offered me $2000 to not take it so they could have something on the lot. I’m sure the mark up would have been close to $50k!

on another note, I’ve been trying to buy a Bosch dishwasher for the past two months, any level, and they are absolutely gone. If anyone has a lead on one I’d pay a finders fee.

 

I spoke w/two or three different Dealers, and they all told me that you can't order Tacoma's from Toyota, and yet from what I read here, it appears that you can.

Oh well, I still like what I bought though.

I got what I originally wanted, a TRD Sport w/the Access Cab and a 6 Speed Manual Transmission.

No complaints, other than the price of course.

Dealers are correct. You can’t order a Toyota. You can request what options or accessories you might want and if they have one in the pipeline then they can try and allocate it. But you cannot order any Toyota Tacoma from a dealership. Point blank.
