I've has several dealers in AZ offer me msrp on Tundras after having a markup. Maybe the turbo issue they are having is making people backout of orders.

Let me know when you get it. Mines being built 2/14 wondering how long it will take mines a lime manual.

2022 Lime manual pro sticker 49615, selling 53,614. I was there when new allocations came in so grabbed it. Toyota of Surprise, AZ. They don't add any other addons. I traded in a 2021 a month earlier for 51,100 on a 2021 4runner pro and they listed my tacoma at 55k and had it sold in three days.

There are a few dealers here in AZ that sell for msrp but will lowball you on trades and give you the old "savings in taxes" so you are actually getting ..... then add on 3k in dealer adds. Avondale doesn't have adds but I would only use them if you have no trades. They pay the lowest and try and make it back on that side. Problem is all their allocations are sold you'll be waiting a long time for anything good.

Either way they almost always come out the same they just move numbers around, it's just how much BS do you want to put up with. Surprise and Avondale are in and out in less than an hour with zero pressure.

So I have to give credit where credit is due. I ran my case all the way up the food chain and Findlay. They offered to pay parts for a TRD lift if I pay labor. They were under no obligation to do that and they stepped up so I consider us flush. My salesman Alan Hunter was key in helping me get things done, a stand up guy. I also got some TRD rims and BFG KO’s (they matched discount tire). Ill post up pics when its done tomorrow. Was actually going to go the 6112 route but what the heck, I’ll give this a try.

That posting has been removed, oh well. For those who missed it, it was 2001 in mint condition for $1000. I guess I'll just have to be happy with the 2022 that I hope to pick up this week - for substantially more money.

Been a few years but I'm back. After waiting for a year on a Bronco I decided to punt and ordered a 2022 TRD Offroad DC Long Bed today $45,000 (Tech pkg, Predator steps, LED headlights/fogs, LED bed lights, LED interior lights and the typical dealer added fluff like window tint, paint protection, all weather mats, door edge guards, yada, yada. Not a buyers market for sure. Dealer told me 53 days. Loved my 2016 but really hated the transmission in that one. Tempted to go manual but went auto anyway. Hopefully I don't regret it and the transmission is better if not I'll have to tune it. Already have tires and wheels ready to go and will do the 2" Bilstien/Icon lift.

The transmission is way smoother in my 2020 than my 2016 was.

That’s good to hear. The one in my 2016 was so aggravating.

    Oh look, another mod....
I'm at my local dealership and saw this. I didn't buy my truck from this place. I'm just here for warranty work.

$40k for an SR trim 4x2.

Welcome to GSA...Greedy States of America
My very basic SR 4x4 was right at 35K and by the time you get done with all other tax tags title etc. it was 40K. Add another grand for the tires and wheels I found from another Taco owner who was de-chroming his. Those steelies just plain suck.
Still the best truck out there though IMO

In late March I have a ‘22 TRD OR 4x4 DC with MT in army green coming in at MSRP so with all taxes and fees I’m looking at about 42k even.

Thanks Caber. Kept searching for something on Craigs etc. When I found these I didn't hesitate. Now I gotta sell the steelie things it came with.

After 3 months of searching locally, every dealer wanted $10-12k markup here in Los Angeles, CA. Ended up getting one with $5k markup but since my cousin had a good relationship with that dealer (he's a broker) they threw in 9 years or 125k miles extended warranty and ceramic coated the whole truck. Comes out to paying for it all but its better then getting nothing, right? hahhhaa

Killing time reading the posts on prices and sales; I believe I have been convinced to purchase my 2019 SR5 DCLB 4x4 at lease end which is scheduled for July. Less than 25,000 miles due to working from home for most of the lease and a residual of approximately $29k. The dealer has been sending me emails and correspondence to come in, they "want" and "need" used trucks.
