What are you paying for your 2021 Tacoma? (price thread)

Just got quoted $35,998 for a 2021 SR5 4x4 double cab short bed Trail edition in army green. Tax/title/fees not included. MSRP is $38,255.

Good deal?

 

Huh? I understood what he was talking about and there was nothing presumptive about it. He did a good job of stating “used 2018 TRD Pro”.

Hey, 35,998 is the price prior to TTL.

I just shot out an email to a handful of dealers in my area to see what other offers I get.

 

So about 6% off MSRP? Does that include any rebates? If so not really a fantastic deal but not bad in this climate.

 

Yeah about 6% off. No rebates that I'm aware of. No trade in. We haven't sat down and gone through the numbers. I went in to test drive and they threw that number at me as I was leaving. They also don't have the truck yet. It'll be here in 3 weeks.

Then that’s a decent deal. Does your region not have the $500 rebate and then $1000 if financed through TFS?

 

Looks like my region does offer the $500 cash rebate. I'm not sure if that amount is factored into the price I was quoted. Will be test driving the truck once it comes in then digging further into the numbers. Just wanted to see if the initial offer was in the right ballpark. Seems like its a decent deal but not amazing.

 

It’s definitely decent given the current climate, desirable color and package. I’d have them honor that discount prior to rebate.

 

How are you guys getting the emails for salespeople, fleet sales? I cant seem to find these easily on the Toyota websites...

I paid 37,500 for a 4x4 TRD off road with tech package and LED package. Doesn’t sound like yours is a good deal to me.

So my buddy called. My initial allocation that was suppose to be built on 10/17 but it was built early and the truck actually showed up last night!

2021 TRD Off-Road, 4x4 DCSB.
Premium Tech, Advance Tech.

MSRP is $44,832. Best I could do was $42,635 + TTL as no rebates/incentives were available in Kommiefornia. I would of wished I got a deal similiar to TacoBuffet's (as it's almost a twin of his truck) but I was just tired of waiting and putting up MSRP/mark-up BS.



I should just be happy as they had another exact truck on the lot with a $3k mark-up.
