Yeah, but you can then look at all of the local dealership websites and hopefully you can find the truck in their inventory. That's how I found my truck.

Another option is auto trader or car guru but they aren't as good for filtering option packages.

Finished my deal today. It went without a hitch. All negotiations were conducted via email. Elapsed time in the actual dealer office was ~30 minutes. 10 minutes to sign paper work and write a check.

I did a 75 minute test drive which included testing the transmission in the city with default settings, S4, ECT, etc. I also did some high speed freeway (tollway) testing with the radar and cruise control. It drove flawlessly. MUCH better than my 2017 OR. I tested 4x4 briefly as well as most of the controls in the truck.

The original truck I tried to buy a few weeks ago got dealer traded. It was the exact config as the truck I bought today, but it included the 5” oval black side steps. The GM honored the original price, discount, etc. They gave me a set of steps today when I picked up the truck. I installed them and a few other minor mods today.

Putting my SCS Ray 10’s on tomorrow.

So, the first truck original MSRP was $46,197. The steps are $669. Therefore, the discount off MSRP was 11.3%. That includes the 1k rebate. The rest of the numbers are on the purchase agreement.

If you have any questions, hollar. Hitting the sack soon.

Didn't see this thread prior to purchase. My car had died for a week, so I didn't have much time.

2wd bought last Friday in Louisiana. Don't seem like the deals are as good here. Didnt think there was any way I could get 3-4K off on a 4wd like members here.

Just want to pass along some prices I found in Texas during my extensive West Coast search.

In San Antonio I was quoted $33,500 for a TRD OR 4WD DCSB 6 MT.

In Dallas I was quoted $29,000 for a SR DCSB 4WD.

The delta between the two prices makes no sense at all but they were very real. Point is, for folks willing to travel you may be able to avoid some of the ludacris pricing by calling 12 dealers and asking for the lowest priced 4x4 in their inventory or extended inventory within 250 miles from inter dealer transfers. If you’re not shopping for a tech loaded optioned out truck and just trying to economically purchase a new 4wd Tabroma, try this strategy.

That's an incredible, unbelievable price for a TRD OR 4WD DCSB 6MT. The invoice price for a 2021 of that model is $32,840 with no options and before destination charges. Which dealer in SA quoted you that price?

Toyota of Dallas was definitely for the SR and I think the OR was either Cavender or North Park in San Antonio.

I ordered a 2021 SR 4WD from Grants Pass Oregon, picking up in 2 weeks. After rebates with zero options it should be $31k OTD. Now you’re wondering why didn’t I buy the Dallas truck for $29k? None of the Texas dealers would honor my Florida military no-tax clause, they wouldn’t budge, so it wasn’t worth flying to TX and driving back to CA. Oregon has no taxes, other than 0.5% state corporate, and it’s nearby.

Started my search for a '21 in early October. Coming from an '06 V8 4Runner and ended my search today (after coming back to this thread daily)

    1. 2021 TRD OR DCSB, A/T in ARMY GREEN. :D
    2. MSRP(before dealer add ons): $39,482
    3. Tonneau Cover, Mudgaurds, Floor Mats
    4. Cost of dealer add ons- (tint, floor mats, nitrogen, etc): $0
    5. Price before Tax Title License (TTL) including incentive/rebate: $36,800
    6. Discount 1-(#5/#2)*100=% off MSRP): 6.79% off MSRP
    7. Price Out The Door (OTD): $40,300 (NJ TTL + doc fee)
Honestly pretty indifferent about my deal. I was in touch with many many dealers in the North East looking for a deal, but when the truck you want in the color you want is available, you just have to go for it. Helps that the dealership was super straightforward, no BS from finance team either. Salesperson said people were calling about the truck as I was in the process of buying it, and honestly I believe him. In my experience, just know what you want and don't settle for less, especially on something as big as color. If you end up paying more than you were expecting to (like me) it helps knowing that it was the truck you wanted... For now I have an appointment for fluid filming, replacing the cheese grater grille, and removing that awful chrome.

Congrats on the truck. Looks great and big discount. Hope they treated you well on the trade allowance as well. Respect for posting your actual deal's paperwork!

I actually picked mine up today too, but its not what I went in for. I'll post my details tomorrow.

Went to a Toyota dealership in Rockville, MD today and they were offering to drop $1,000 off the MRSP on a Tacoma TRD Pro Lunar Rock if I purchased it today. The MRSP was $48,???. The other one was $49,??? with the step rails. The Lunar Rock color was better than what I expected, but not what I wanted. I would prefer the TRD Pro, but would really like the 6 foot bed. Looks like a $3,940 difference in the base TRD Pro and a loaded TRD OR DCLB. The sales rep made it sound like there is more room to negotiate on the TRD OR.

I saw one today at a dealership for the first time and it looks like two different colors from the sunny side to the shady side.
