What are you reading or what have you read lately?

I'm trying to kill time till new books in my other series come out. I'm already 82% through it, not too much left.

 

We are all different .

Now and then I will come across new books I never read from years ago buried on the shelf.

 

I finished it last night. Onto a new series while I wait out new books.

Finished Daisy Jones & The Six earlier this week. Great read for me! I read in an article that its based on the story of Fleetwood Mac and I'm fan so here we are. I also read A Man Called Ove earlier this month and it was such a good book!! I know they had Tom Hanks in the movie. He did great but you know the book is better

 

Only when the movie was produced first from a screen play has a movie been better then a book at least in my mind.

Today`s read Carl Hiaasen Stormy Weather Funny Satire in Florida Might not be for everyone!

I have read many of his books. I love to laugh out loud.

 

Hiaasen is hilarious. If you enjoy his stuff give Staight Man by Richard Russo a try if you've never read it.

Any more I am into Humor and satire .

Not that I will not pick up most anything! As long as it holds my interest.

 

While looking for a box of pre printed envelopes that i never found.

I came across a box of books Jack Higgins , Web Griffin, Patrick Robinson and a few others .

It has been years so it will be fresh and exciting.

 

I caught up on this series. Waiting on another book. Started 'Beneath the Dragoneye Moons' by Selkie Myth in the meantime. It's okay.

 

Time flies 9/16 already .

Just Picked up Clive Cussler The Wrecker a Issac Bell novel

 

Just finished The Mote in God's Eye and now am into The Gripping Hand By Pournelle and Niven

 

Just finished Timeless by Travis Bagwell last week and started the latest Legend of Randidly Ghosthound this week.

 

Recently picked this up

 

I just finished it again for the 2nd time.

Amazing book. The first time I read it was on my honeymoon. The wife and I fought over who got to read it.

When she was in grad school she got to attend a seminar by Jared Diamond where he talked about the book.

It was a book that I had an incredibly hard time putting down, even the second time.
